one of our drivers found a large bag of helium baloons wandering down the road ..... if anyones lost some they are safe in our garage ...... and keeping archie amused :)

Hi All

no major changes to service for now but after 4pm weekdays although we are open we are working from the phones only - so the garage may be shut but we can still take calls by phone.

Next Monday ( 2nd) BT will be making some changes to the phones - we are assured that it will make no difference to the service and will only take a minute or two .......... ;)
So to be on the safe side we will have two mobiles ready in case

Hello Everyone , almost back to normal during the day, while its quiet we have less drivers but will increase numbers as needed. Advance booking is always welcome and helps in planning driver numbers .
After 4pm weekdays we are still open but operating from the phones only - the office is closed - again advance booking is preferable especially at ferry times
Friday and saturday nights we are operating as normal (24hrs) with the office open most of that time.
Stay safe everyone - all the drivers have masks and sanitiser is available in the cars

We are currently open as normal during during the day - but with a reduced number of drivers while things are quiet - as trade increases we will get more drivers out . Hires can be pre-booked - not essential but preferred as it helps planning to reduce waiting time. Night time also open with reduced hours and drivers depending on trade - as it gets busier we will increase drivers but prebooked helps planning. We plan to be open until the bars shut again depending on numbers prebooking helps especially for later in the night

Hi Everyone, now the first case has been confirmed , we are still open for some hires following government / police guidelines but we all have to be careful - Vulnerable people , health workers , prescription deliveries etc we can do but other hires are restricted

We plan to continue this until about 9pm - after that a service may still be available if we know in advance .

Generally its a good idea to book in advance anyway as we only have a very small team on so forward planning helps us all.

Please` understand if we cannot do your hire but its in all of our interests to follow the rules and keep us all as safe and healthy as possible

LATEST UPDATE
With the ever changing situation we've had advice that we have to strictly stick to the government restrictions for protection of both the public and our drivers - so reluctantly we will be limiting to genuine urgent hires - health appointments , essential work etc. The office will be closed and phones transferred to mobile. Very sorry for any inconvenience and confusion and we wish everyone gets through these distressing time and we look forward to "normal" life returning

we are still on a limited team for now but will get more drivers in if needed.

If the situation is the same in the morn then we will be open again , but again bringing in extra drivers as/if needed

IMPORTANT NOTICE

24/3/20 - 10.30

The police have been round and told ALL taxi companies to close down immediately.
We are able to do a very limited number of runs for health reasons / health workers etc.
The phones are being diverted and will be answered when possible and if we are allowed to we will do our best to help - but please understand we, like ALL taxi companies have been told to close so it is out of our control but there have been some local issues with the phones getting through - probably due to the number of mobile calls.
We will be watching the current situation closely and will do as much as we can as soon as we are allowed

Hope everyone stays safe and we get to the other side of this crisis both in health and spirit

sadly due to the changes due to the virus, we have had to change our opening hours :
Sunday to Thursday 06.00 to midnight
Friday - 06.00 to 03.00
Saturday - 06.00 to 03.00

depending on business levels we may need to review these again in these very difficult times for all of us

If you need a hire outside of these hours please let us know in advance and we will try to arrange a car or cars

when we had a snowfall a few weeks ago a very sad and hungry looking thrush was sitting outside the garage in the cold .We've had blackbirds coming in for sultanas for quite a while and when offered the thrush took them with enthusiasm .... and keeps coming back for more ... today was looking in much better condition
