Come along to the Plock from now. Story telling sessions in the wee hut at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Hot drinks and a warm fire as well as a beautiful display of twinkling lights.

Dogs : talk to us if you want to bring more than 3 dogs. We can be flexible but it very much is case by case depending on the mix of humans and dogs. Please bring throws for furniture and if your dog shares your bed, let us know and bring your own duvet and cover. Fences are 1.2m : suitable for most dogs except determined escapologists. Dogs are charged at £25/dog/stay.

Live music at the Balmacara Hotel tonight

It was more than breezy at the top of the Bealach na Ba yesterday. Big thanks to Applecross Inn for a lovely meal. Tina was very appreciative of having a choice of #vegan mains and a vegan dessert. I enjoyed the #seafood.

A slightly longer walk today with our guests. Starting at Morvich we walked to the Falls at Glomach, walking out along Glen Elchaig to the parking at the head of Loch Long. 20km and about 600 meters of rise. Some fairly steep desents after you leave the head of the falls.
