Working from a wee kitchen on the banks of Loch Duich, our small but mighty team draw endless inspiration from our beautiful Highland home. We’re insistent on using only the best Scottish ingredients to produce our decadent chocolates – and this, coupled with the care and passion that goes into each and every mouthful is evident in the unique and luxurious taste experience of Chocolates of Glenshi

el. We are committed to being a force for good in every aspect, from supporting our local community to protecting the environment. Our packaging is 100% plastic free, and by sourcing our ingredients as locally as possible we keep our carbon footprint at a minimum. Come along and join us on our Highland adventure!

You guys have totally sold us out of boxes of chocolates - thank you so much!

We are working our socks off in the kitchen at the moment to get more chocolates available on the website, so keep an eye peeled on our socials or sign up to our mailing list for a restock notification. We will have more chocolates soon (definitely in plenty of time for Christmas shopping) so please bear with us!

The advent calendars are now officially on their way!

Thank you so much to everyone who has chosen us to provide your Christmas countdown this year, it really means a lot.

We’ve put loads of care into choosing which chocolates went into the calendars this year and we’re really pleased with the selection - we hope you are too. The first of December isn’t far away now (ahh!) so there isn’t too long to wait for your first bite of Scottish chocolatey goodness. Enjoy!

We’re sure it’s not news to you that the cocoa industry is rife with issues. At Chocolates of Glenshiel, we source our chocolate from an ethical supplier who is tackling poverty amongst cocoa farmers and boosting education and healthcare; as well as fighting deforestation and striving towards carbon neutrality.

So – that’s what our supplier is doing. What can we do?

We’ve recently teamed up with Village by Village – a really amazing organisation working with communities in Ghana (a country with many cocoa farms) to help provide education, clean water, healthcare and sustainable development. They work with local people in various Ghanian villages to establish needs and priorities, tailored to the individual communities. We spoke to founders Anna and Neil and they told us that the one of the top priorities for the charity at the moment is providing hand washing stations in schools, which has an immense impact on the health of both students and staff; the school attendance of children due to a huge reduction in illness; and their ongoing health due to the understanding of the importance of clean hands!

From now, proceeds from every chocolate we sell will go towards building water stations in Ghanian schools. We donated our first water station last week.

We are so thrilled to be working with Village by Village and are completely inspired by their passion for and devotion to their cause. Thank you for continuing to support us and eat all of our chocolate. You can now treat yourself totally guilt free, knowing that you’re providing invaluable resources to Ghanian communities by indulging your tastebuds!

We’ve replaced the foil on our chocolate bars with resealable pouches, making it so much easier to stick your bar back in the wrapper for later.

Hey guys. A wee update on our delivery charges…

Due to rising costs, we are no longer able to offer free delivery on all chocolate orders. From the 18th, all orders over £40 will be eligible for free delivery, with a fee of £3.95 for smaller orders. We’ve put this decision off for as long as possible, but unfortunately we can’t delay any more. We really hope you can understand. Perhaps this can be a wee excuse to treat yourself to some more chocolate!

Orders of our Seasonal Subscription will still receive free delivery.

The good news is - there’s still time to grab all of your favourites with free delivery! The charge won’t come into place until the 18th, so stock up while you can 🍫

This week our production manager Fin left to pursue his barbering company full time. He’s been a fantastic member of our team over the last few years and we’re really going to miss him. We wish him all the best with his new business and hope he stops by for a hot chocolate in the cafe often!

Fin’s barbering business is based in Dornie. Definitely give him a shout if you’d like a haircut, he’s fab ✂ ️
