Arran has lots to offer. With Holy Isle only a stones throw away why not head over for the day and explore the caves, coast line and hill tops. The monks are more than w
elcoming and will point you in the right direction to spot the famous wild horses. Hill walkers flock here to climb Goat Fell. There are plenty of other options too for the more or less experienced walker. There's an abundance of wildlife. Arran boasts to having Scotland's big 5. Red Deer, Golden Eagles, Otters, Red Squirrels and Basking Sharks can be seen on a regular basis. We have 7 golf courses on the island and each one presents its own iconic setting. The Arran Golf Pass entitles you to one round of golf on all 7 courses for an amazing £99!!! Fishing on the island's great fun for all ages. Sea anglers can catch a good variety from all round the coast. Day or week passes can be obtained for most rivers and lochs for the keen fly fisherman. Its a photographers paradise with beautiful photo opportunities round ever corner. The food and drinks not bad either. With The Taste of Arran promoting local produce all over the world, its hardly surprising we have some excellent bars and restaurants. Head north to the distillery to sample some of our famous whisky and watch the sun set behind Lochranza castle. Whatever your into come back and relax at the Arran Lodge.
Just to remind all our guests that the shared kitchen is currently unavailable. We will have this area back open when covid restrictions are eased. There’s lots of eating options in Lamlash and Brodick from 7am - 10pm. We are sorry for the inconvenience but would much rather you were all safe.

I’m looking for two motivated people to come and join our housekeeping team with some additional hours spent helping with check-ins. We are based on a Scottish island called Arran and have a backpacker style accommodation called “Arran Sleep Huts” and another large self catering house called “The Arran Lodge”
If your an outdoors kind of person who loves walking,climbing,kayaking, cycling and nature just to name a few then Arrans the perfect place to spend your summer.
Live in accommodation is provided and you have the shared use of our brand new cookhouse. Duty’s include all aspects of housekeeping including laundry and ironing. Basic computer skills will also come in handy during check-in. You must also be confident in answering the telephone and helping guests during their stay. I would prefer someone with experience in housekeeping but it’s not essential as we provide training for all new staff. We pay the living wage and there’s lots of hours on offer. This would be perfect for someone who’s wanting to save money.

I’m also looking for someone during the Easter and Summer holidays to help with maintenance. Duty’s include gardening, maintaining paths, watering plants, outdoor painting, clearing gutters, washing windows, power washing and more. Accommodation is NOT provided for this position so would need to be someone who has accommodation on the island already. 30-40 hours per week
