Welcome to our artist in residence for January 2024, Claire Hiett. Claire is a Welsh artist from Bridgend County. She is a Freelance Wellbeing Creative Practitioner and Teacher focusing on meditative mark making by way of drawing, painting and print making. Claire works with various organisations in in Bridgend County focusing on the nurturing aspect of nature and Art. She is offering 2 amazing workshops in January at Mud and Wool, Painting with Gouache resist and Linoprinting. Workshops can be conducted in Welsh and English. Tylau Cottages has two beautifully appointed cottages with amazing views over the Teifi Valley . On a 14 acre small holding between the Cambrian Mountains and the coast with fire pits, barbecues ,pizza oven ,table tennis table, petanque ,seating with views and little light pollution for star gazing.

We have been very busy renovating our 1 bedroom cottage Bwthyn Heulog ready for visitors. Booking is now open .
