🚶❄️ Wintertime walks with views of the Dyfi

The northern boundary of Ceredigion is marked by the river Dyfi.

Its estuary is known for Cors Fochno – a nature reserve for its large expanse of lowland peatbog, Ynys Las – the largest network of sand dunes in Ceredigion and Ynys Hir – an RSPB reserve which is a haven for birds.

This selection of walks offers views across the river and estuary into Gwynedd, as well as visiting several small villages in the north of Ceredigion.

This boy is a poser! The Aeron Valley is great for dog walking. Plenty of mature woodlands alongside the river Aeron with muddy paths to follow. In the stream on the farm here, there's wild watercress growing, alongside labradors popping up like fungi amongst the trees and rocks
