Electronic Travel Authorisation
From 8th January 2025 you will require to apply for an ETA in order to travel in to the UK or Ireland. This can be done online here: Apply for ETA

It costs £10.00 to apply. You will usually get a decision within 3 working days, but you may get a quicker decision. (You can apply from the 27th November 2024).

Your ETA lasts for 2 years. You can travel to the UK as many times as you want during that time.

If you get a new passport, you will need to get a new ETA.
