Here is my review of Cunard's Queen Anne. This was my 2nd Cunard cruise the first was back on the Queen Elizabeth back in December of 2021. Been on other cruise since then I have been on P&O but took the change and booked Queen Anne.
I went on this with a open mind if I was a new Cunard traveller. I must say I was very impressed with the ships interiors and out there are some issues but I will get into them soon first things first is boarding.
This was very fast we got the coach down to Southampton it was a good ride once we got to the docks we must have been on the ship with in 15mins there is no messing around. Once on the ship you need to go to your muster station to scan your boarding pass.

your cruise card is at your cabin in the mail slot on the wall. I loved the room me and my mate had a inside cabin and it was very nice. not a fan of where the Tv was. storge space was perfectly fine I packed everything I needed for the trip no more or no less and I used the laundrette half way through voyage. one tip get to the laundrette early morning or when people are not on the ship.

The ships spaces are fantastic loved the Art deco with the modern twist and it really does work. i can not really pull apart the interiors of the ship but one room i was not a fan off was 1840s where the bar was to close to the stairs and there was 2 support columns there so it was a small bit to walk through. the casino on the other side worked well lots of space so walk on that side.
but other than that the rest of the rooms on the ship are Fantastic.

outdoor areas i must say are fantastic too as there was not really a bad spot on deck . loved the observation deck as you can see the bow of the ship and the games deck is up there. the area around the funnel was great too not a bad place to take photos as the Cunard funnel is a piece of art it self. And the outdoor pools where good also nice place to chill. the one area i do not think Cunard put much effort in was the Grill deck it was in a silly spot and it splits the ship in two. you can no longer walk through the grill as there is key pads on the doors now. so if you need to get to the other side you have got to go back on your self to go down then back up again on the other side. for people that can not walk far it will be a problem.

food on the ship was also fantastic lots of variety to pick from i only did the food hall and the Britannia restaurant and loved both. The food hall was great as it was food given to you behind counters and not every man for them selves. The Britannia restaurant was your normal Cunard ship service like all the other queens.

The staff i really loved A lot of new crew joined at the odd port a long the way and you can tell there were new but they are happy lot and that was nice to see i have never had any problems with anyone of them on bored great service.

HOWEVER some of the passengers are another story some can be very rude to the staff for no reason at all i had one having a go as she wanted some cake but it was for the afternoon tea that they were setting up for in food hall but she was 30mins early for it as she was told by a lovely staff member and the lady waved her hand at the female staff member to silence her. i know we get them all over the place back home but i can not stand rudeness in anyway.
To finish off i loved all the ports we went to was not that fussed we missing Cadiz that was due to propeller issues but the trip its self was a 10/10 for me it really was. I would recommend Cunard it self and Queen Anne.

Please do not fall into the comparing the other Cunard ships with this one Queen Anne was built for a new generation of Cunarder passenger in mind there will always paying passengers to go on all of them. (once upon a time people did not like the QE2 and she won the hearts of the people and Queen Mary 2 people did not like her too because she was to modern and it is a repeating pattern people are not a fan of change.)

Princess Cruises and Fincantieri have decided to postpone the delivery of the next Sphere-class ship, Star Princess, from July 29, 2025, to September 26, 2025, resulting in the cancellation of the nine inaugural sailings.

The new inaugural cruises of Star Princess will sail round trip from Barcelona and include an 11-day Med voyage on October 4, 2025, and a 7-day Med voyage on October 15, 2025, ahead of a 14-day crossing to Fort Lauderdale on October 22, 2025, for the ship’s first Caribbean season. These three new cruises will open for sale on April 30, 2024.

History fact : People seem to think that the first Cunard Queen was the Queen Mary. The first Cunard Queen was in fact RMS Berengaria ( Ex SS Imperator ) The Imperator was Compensation for Cunard after they lost so many liners in World War one
