It's all happening in Chester! Want to dress up as Victorian but have no reason to do so? Look no further! Join us this Friday in Chester at the High Cross at 6pm, where we will be handing out pamphlets for the Dickensian Grotto, being held at the nineteenth century Grosvenor Museum and the sixteenth century Stanley Palace this Christmas season! Around 7:30pm we will be making our way to the large tree opposite St Michael's Church to sing some old Christmas Carols together (lyric sheets will be provided) before heading over to Ye Olde King's Head around 8pm for drinks. The Lancaster Family Tour will now launch next Friday 15th November in a bigger launch, to allow online sales as Algernon Eccleston will visiting Chester as part of a Victorian flashmob, meeting at 6pm outside Chester's High Cross. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Nevertheless, there is definitely a 12pm Georgian & Stuart Tour of Lancaster on tomorrow for walk ups, tickets can be purchased in cash from the guide.

After being consulted on Chester's historical sites a few months ago, I was very fortunate to be invited to the launch of the new Chester Monopoly Board...so I decided to take David Atkinson of the Chester Dark Tour as my plus one! The Chester Family Tour even made it onto a chance card! What a lovely event, well done everyone! Fingers crossed that my daughter likes her brand new Chester monopoly board, signed personally by Chester's mayor.
