To celebrate World Wildlife Day I thought I would share some pictures that ourselves and some of our guests have taken here at Lakewood Cottages and nearby on the Lancaster canal over the years. If we don’t look after them and their environment, they may not be here for future generations to enjoy.

🌟March Availability🌟

Due to a cancellation we now have some further availability in March. Why not visit us here at Lakewood Cottages situated between the historic city of Lancaster and the market town of Garstang in Lancashire yet within easy reach of the Lake District, Fylde Coast, Morecambe Bay, Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales.

We have four cottages next to our own small private lake and woodland. Spring is a fantastic time to come and see the lake coming back to life after the winter months and enjoy the beautiful bluebells, daffodils and new life appearing.

For those that like that little bit extra Stable cottage has its own private patio along with a hot tub. All the cottages feature a wood burner for those chilly evenings to relax by.

Short breaks (minimum 3 nights) are currently available to book until mid March.

Our cosy cottage for two, Granary, is still available to book for the Christmas period. We are located in the beautiful Lancashire countryside between Lancaster and Garstang. Our family owned self-catering cottages are set next to our own private lake and woodland with the Lancaster canal running by.
