Not all Bus ads are fairytales...

If you have an audience, it's almost certainly active on Facebook - with over 2 billion users worldwide, it has the largest user base of any social network.

Given the regular organic reach gained from Facebook posting alone has declined, it’s clear that most businesses with a social and web presence could benefit from a good Facebook Ads strategy.

According to Sprout Social - it’s the preferred place for 97% of marketers to run paid ads. The platform’s targeting is very in-depth. But, it’s not straightforward.

What marketers can take away from Facebook’s F8 2019 announcements.

In early May, Facebook held its developer conference. This event holds lots of information for marketers and indeed businesses who are using social media marketing - as well as developers.

This time, it gave a window into how the Facebook and Instagram platforms will evolve in the near future - useful information for your 2020 plans.

In this piece for Social Media Today, Andrew Kunesh covers three of the announcements made at the event - including the redesign of Facebook’s desktop and mobile experience, creators being able to sell their products from their instagram accounts, and that same platform testing hidden like counts.

Inbox Zero is a thing and it does exist. James Hamblin, Senior Editor at The Atlantic tells us how some of us could save several hours per day through better inbox management. His top tips include avoiding using your inbox as a to do list (guilty), get straight to the point in your subject line, don't write more than three sentences (guilty) and don't include salutations or sign offs (oooft!)

I'd struggle with the latter (ruuuude?!) but I'd definitely give the others a shot to save several hours a week.

A few simple rules could help you spend less time answering emails.
