We were blessed with a second day of glorious sunshine on our great 5 day Scottish adventure.

In the morning our guests from America, visited the spectacular, Cawdor Castle and gardens.

We then made the short journey to Clava Cairns to the fascinating standing stones and prehistoric burial cairns.

In the afternoon we explored Rait Castle, where it is said that the castle is haunted by a young female spectre, appearing at dusk in a blood-stained dress, wandering aimlessly around the ruin with bloody stumps for hands.

On our way to Brodie Castle we also stopped at Boath Doocot in Auldearn, before retiring for a second evening in Nairn.

At last, some traditional Scottish June sunshine,๐ŸŒž as we started a new 5-day private tour of Scotland with our lovely visiting family from Pennysilvania in the USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Departing from Edinburgh, our group visited the historic town of Culross in the Kingdom of Fife, where we stretched our legs on a pleasant amble through this picuresque, quaint town

We then travelled over to Kilmahog to feed the Hairy Heilan' Coos before having a scrumptious lunch at the Lion and Unicorn.

In the afternoon, we stopped at The Hermitage, where we took a stroll to the breathtaking, Black Linn Falls before driving north to the historical town Nairn on the Moray Coast, where we spent a splendid overnight stay.

A superb single day shore excursion from Greenock today. Our group from the States (a big shout out to the Peru ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ช fans) had a wonderful Wallace heritage adventure.

Our first visit was to Elderslie, thought to be where William Wallace once lived.

We then ventured on to the National Wallace Monument, which offered spectator views of the iconic Stirling Castle.

A scrumptious lunch was savoured by all at the Lion and Unicorn Inn.

In the afternoon, our guests enjoyed a visit to Doune Castle before travelling back to their cruise ship, and hopefully fabulous memories of their day on our Scottish shores.

On our final day with our lovely group from Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ we took an early morning stroll around McCaig's Tower in Oban.

We then travelled north, where we stopped to take some photos at Stalker Castle.

Our next stop was at Glencoe, where our group enjoyed a wee dram in the surroundings of the dramatic mountain range of Glencoe's Three Sisters. We also had time to enjoy a couple of tunes on the bagpipes before visiting the Drovers Inn for lunch.

Our last visit of the day didn't disappoint, as we all enjoyed a leisurely amble around the picturesque conservation village of Luss.

This was the grand finale to another successful tour. We wish our visitors a safe journey home to Canada.

On our third day of our Scottish adventure, our guests from Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ posed for photos where their parents did, 40 years ago in Lochgilphead.

We then explored the Crinan Canal and visited 2 farms where their relatives lived and worked.

We also had time to climb Dunadd Fort to view spectacular views of the Paps of Jura.

Our next visit was to Carnasserie Castle, a 16th-century tower house overlooking Kilmartin Glen.

Our final destination of the day is to Oban, where we will enjoy an overnight stay.

A spectacular โœจ๏ธ Day 2 of our 4 day Scottish Private Tour saw our group enjoy a morning hike through the enchanting, Puck's Glen.

We then enjoyed an informative guided tour of Kilmun, where over 5 centuries of Campbell Chiefs are buried.

Our tour then took us to Inveraray, where we all enjoyed a lovely lunch at the George Hotel before a wee spot of shopping before touring through Argyle to our overnight stop at Lochgilphead.

A spectacular new 4 Day Scottish tour started today with our visitors from Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ.

Our grande finale saw our guests visit the Macallan Whisky Distillery, and a delectable lunch at Cawdor Tavern, before our visit to the captivating Cawdor Castle.

This was followed by a scenic drive through the Snow Road to Blairgowrie. Completing our fantastic Scottish Tour in Edinburgh

Day 4.........and it's whisky galore. A superb day in Speyside was had by all. A morning visit to the Great Glenlivet was followed by a scrumptious lunch at The Mashtun Hotel in Aberlour.

Day 3 of our 5-Day adventure, and we travelled from Seamill to Aberlour in Speyside. We savoured the welcomed sunshine breaking through the Douglas Firs on our short hike at the Hermitage to the Black Linn Falls.

This was followed by a terrific lunch at the Old Mill Inn, in Pitlochry.

In the afternoon, our visitors from Dallas had a splendid visit to Blair Castle, before travelling north to Speyside.

Well folks, we reached the last 2 days of our sensational 6-day Scottish Private Tour with our lovely visitors from Singapore. We ended with visits to the magnificent Mount Stuart House on the Isle of Bute and to the iconic Stirling Castle.

We had a delightful lunch at Baker St in Stirling before a pleasant stroll through the historic city. We then made our way to the capital city of Edinburgh.

We wish our friends from Singapore safe travels home, and we hope they return to our shores again in the future. Haste Ye Back !

On day 4 of our stupendous Scottish tour, we visited Clava Cairns, Dores at Loch Ness, and The Highland Soap Company for a scrumptious lunch at Fort William. We also managed to squeeze in Glencoe and the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond before retiring for the evening in the scenic seaside town of Seamill on the west coast.

Join us tomorrow for our penultimate day, which offers a trip "doon the watter". Cheerio for now.

We were blessed to get some much welcomed sunshine on day 3 of our great Scottish adventure. โ˜€๏ธ

Departing from the Invernairne Guest House, we travelled on into whisky country to the magnificent Glenlivet Distillery. Our visitors from Singapore were treated to an enthralling informative tour, followed by three drams of the finest Glenlivet Speyside Whisky.

We then travelled through Speyside to the iconic Cawdor Castle.

A delightful lunch in the Cawdor Castle tearoom was followed by a castle tour, with time to meander through the beautiful blooming castle gardens, before returning to our base in Nairn.

Our morning of day 2 of our Scottish adventure saw us depart from Fonab Castle in Pitlochry.

Our visitors had a fabulous overnight stay in Pitlochry, refreshed and ready to discover the spectacular scenery travelling the snow road through Glenshee to Braemar.

The highlight of the day was visiting Balmoral Castle. We journeyed on through the Eastern Cairngorms where we stopped to celebrate our visitors Francis and Evelyn's wedding anniversary with a wee dram of malt whisky and a couple of bagpipe tunes.

We rounded the day off with a wonderful day and overnight stay at a customer favourite in Nairn, The Invernairne.

Today, we welcomed our new visiting group from Singapore, who began their exciting 6-day private tour of Scotland.

Departing from Glasgow airport this morning, we made our way to St Andrews, the home of golf.

Our guests enjoyed a 90-minute guided walking tour of the old course, followed by a delicious 2-course Sunday Lunch at Tom Morris Bar & Grill, located in the St Andrews Links Clubhouse.

**Fun fact: In 1764, the 22-hole old course was reduced to 18 holes, becoming the standard for golf courses the world over.

Well, we reached our final day of our sensational six day tour of Bonnie Scotland.

Travelling through scenic Argyll, from Oban to Edinburgh, our first stop was at St Conans Kirk.

We journeyed on to Loch Voil where our visitors enjoyed the skirl of the pipes whilst savouring a dram of our golden nectar.

We had tasty lunch at the Lade Inn at Kilmahog, before feeding the heilan coos.

We finally reached Edinburgh where we bid our fond farewells.

The Kilted Piper is back on the road this week to start more new tours. Keep tuned folks ๐Ÿ˜‰

Our friends from Washington DC enjoyed glorious sunshine on their penultimate day, touring from the Isle of Skye to Oban.

We started the day off with a scenic drive to Armadale on the Sleat peninsula, where we sailed to Mallaig.

We then visited the Glenfinnan viaduct and monument before continuing our journey to Fort William.

Other stops included photostops at Glencoe and Castle Stalker before travelling on to Oban where are staying overnight.

A spectacular day on the Isle of Skye on day four of our tremendous tour of scotland. We were blessed with another day of glorious sunshine, as we visited; the Fairy Pools, Talisker Whisky Distillery, Portree, the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Mealt Falls, Staffin Bay and the Museum of Island Life.

Wow! What a lot we packed in to one day. Hope you enjoy the photos folks.

On day three of our sensational six day tour, we departed from Nairn and journeyed on to Dores at Loch Ness.

Alas, no sightings of Nessie, so we travelled on the east side of Loch Ness to Fort Augustus.

Our next destination took us to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, which didn't disappoint.

We are now based on the Isle of Skye for the next two days.

Day two with our lovely visitors from Washington DC. We had a tremendous visit to Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, and Cawdor Castle.

The beautiful warm May weather was very welcomed as our guests enjoyed the skirl of the pipes on Nairn Beach and some fine malt whisky tastings.

Altogether, a fabulous day was had by all. Stay tuned to see where our adventure takes us tomorrow.

A new day and a new tour with another fabulous new group.

We started our Scottish adventure with our loveฤบy visitors from Washington DC.

Departing from Edinburgh, we travelled to Stirling Castle for a splendid tour with Historic Scotland.

We then enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Lion and Unicorn pub in Thornhill.

Travelling northwards, we stopped off at the Hermitage for an afternoon forest walk to the Black Linn Falls before heading to Nairn in Morayshire, where we will stay for the next two evenings

On our final day with our lovely family group from Australia, we visited New Lanark Mill on the River Clyde, which is a Unesco World Heritage Centre.

We then journeyed on to Linlithgow where we all enjoyed a scrumptious lunch in the Four Mary's pub.

A quick stop at Linlithgow Palace, before travelling on to our final destination of the tour, Edinburgh. Here we said our fond farewells having completed our amazing Anderson ancestral tour.

Our penultimate day with Clan Anderson began with a visit to the iconic Glasgow University. Glasgow University was founded in 1451 and is the fourth oldest university in the english speaking world.

We then journeyed on to the 19th century Glengoyne Distillery where our visitors sampled some of the golden nectar.

Afterwards, we experienced a surprise introduction and visit to Duntreath Castle, where one of the Anderson ancestors once worked.

It was a pleasure to meet Sir Archie Edmonstone and play a couple of Scottish tunes on the pipes for him.

In the afternoon we paid our respects to all those brave souls who lost their lives in the Cadder Mine disaster.

Our final visit of the day was to the Wallace Monument in Robroyston.

Day one of an amazing 'Anderson' ancestry tour with the fab four from Australia.

We walked in the footsteps of the Andersons, visiting Kilsyth, Colzium House and Kirkintilloch known to many locals as 'Kirky'.

Our tour saw us visiting farmsteads, work places and burial grounds.

We began our final day's tour departing from picturesque Pitlochry. On route to Edinburgh we explored; Loch Tay, Rob Roy McGregor's final resting place (Balquhidder), Loch Lubnaig and finally the splendid Stirling Castle.

We bid our farewells to our visitors from Minnesota, and hope they return home with amazing memories of our wonderful country.

On our penultimate day of our 5-day tour of Scotland, we visited Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, and Cawdor Castle. We then travelled on the snow road through the Eastern Cairngorms, stopping at Lecht and Braemar before retiring for the evening in the picuresque, Victorian Spa town of Pitlochry.

Another fabulous day with our visitors from Minnesota. Departing from Oban, we travelled northwards and stopped off at the Castle Stalker viewpoint before proceeding to atmospheric Glencoe.

Our guests listened to the 'Massacre of Glencoe' by the Corries and sampled a wee dram and some shortbread whilst listening to the skirl of the bagpipes in front of the three sisters of Glencoe.

We also stopped off at the Clachaig Inn for a perfect photo opportunity ๐Ÿ˜€.

Our next stop was at Neptune's Staircase on the Caledonian Canal, where we all enjoyed a picnic before travelling through Scotland's Great Glen.

Our adventure then took us to the Commando Monument with Scotland's tallest mountain, Ben Nevis, in the backdrop.

Our final stop of the day was a wee visit to Dores Beach, where we searched for Nessie before retiring for the evening at the Invernairne Guest House in Nairn.

Day 2, of our Scottish adventure, and a very special visit to the ancestral home of Clan Campbell, Inveraray Castle.

Our day started from Seamill Hydro ,boasting wondeful views of the Isle of Arran.

Our first stop of the day was to the conservation village of Luss, on the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond.

We continued through the Arrochar Alps to the Rest and be Thankful, where a wee dram or two was sampled and savoured.

The main event of the day was visiting Inveraray Castle, which basked in the Scottish sunshine.

Our travels took us through Bonnie Argyll, stopping at Kilchurn Castle, and the iconic St Conans Kirk, before retiring for the night in Oban
