FREE SUP safety workshop 🛟

Saturday 17th June at 1:30pm

Our next workshop will be completely free to attend! We will still be raising funds for the so donations on the day will be greatly appreciated. All you need to do is book your spot on our website to register that you will be attending. (Link in bio)

Our goal is to reach a greater audience with this workshop; spreading the knowledge of sea safety as widely as possible. We would like to encourage you to bring family and friends along. We’ll also have some freebies for everyone in attendance courtesy of the and to help keep you safe at sea.

The format for this workshop will be completely based on shore so no need for boards, wetsuits etc this time.

The Education Officer from will kick off the workshop with a presentation on sea safety.

We will then go in-depth on SUP safety, discussing how to plan when and where to paddle and how to assess weather/wind conditions. We will also cover SUP equipment in detail looking at the different types of accessories used for paddling including buoyancy aids, leashes etc.

There are a large number of people going out on paddle boards every week without the knowledge or tools to stay safe. We hope that events like this can help raise awareness and potentially save lives in the future.

Please share and if possible get your friends, kids, grandkids involved. We look forward to seeing you then.
