Ballygally Break Away is situated on the coast 5 miles from Larne, County Antrim & at the gateway to the Glens of Antrim. It’s self catering accommodation & we are pet friendly (£10 additional per dog, maximum is 2 dogs). We have a 3 metre square enclosed dog run with a kennel in the rear garden if guests would like to go out for a meal etc without their pets.
There are 2 gardens with a wide variety of colourful & fun play equipment e.g jungle gym with twin towers, 12ft in-ground trampoline, large dome tent, swings, slides, monkey bars, trapeze bar, balance board, train, car sand pit, 8ft pool (in July & August), various ride on toys, log cabin, outdoor kitchen area, tool station, climbing space dome, sensory area with aromatic tactile plants & herbs (great for kids with autism or additional needs), fairy garden area, wildflower area etc.

Option 1:
As a ground floor self contained open plan studio apartment that can sleep up to 4 people (2 adults & 2 kids). It’s known as Ballygally Retreat.
It has a double bed & the corner leatherette sofa converts into a double bed (for kids). Price for a minimum 2 night stay in April & May (not Bank Holiday weekends) is from £180 per couple = £45 per adult per night. Children are an additional £10 per child per night. Babies & toddlers under 2 years old are free. We have travel cots, high chairs & kids toys etc.
Option 2: (incorporates Ballygally Retreat)
A ground floor self contained, 1 bedroomed apartment that can sleep up to 8 people (4 adults & 4 kids). It’s called Ballygally Break Away.
The luxurious & spacious bedroom has a kingsize bed overlooking the mountains, a vanity sink with Holywood lighting; a large smart tv with Netflix, YouTube etc; a sofa that converts into a double bed (for 2 kids) & mirrored sliderobes. Price for a minimum 2 night stay from September - April is from £220 per couple = £55 per adult per night. Children are an additional £10 per child per night. Babies & kids under 2 years old are free.
Both Ballygally Retreat & Ballygally Break Away have the option of exclusive use of a private outdoor Hawaii Limited Edition hot tub. It has LED lighting, 35+ jets, recliner & a waterfall feature. This is an additional extra @ £25 per day/night per family. This includes robes & slippers for the adults & hot tub towels for adults & kids.
The hot tub is situated in our rear garden under a lean-to pergola with LED lights & waterproof speaker on raised decking overlooking the spectacular coastline 🌊 with mountain ⛰ views 🥰.
Why not have a 🍾🥂, 🍻, 🍹 or 🍷 at our corner ‘bring your own’ Ballygally Break Away bar with an outdoor fridge inset into the bar area, lighting, seating etc. Or, guests can relax on our raised decking on our comfortable outdoor furniture, dining table & admire the amazing scenic views.
The kids could watch movies 🎞 🎥 🍿🍕 in our outdoor cinema nearby on the decking while their parents or adults unwind & relax in the hot tub!
There is free Fibre Wifi; a starter food basket; bedlinen, towels & basic toiletries are also provided.
Guests have their own private garden with picnic table with views of the coastline & mountains. We also provide a barbecue 🍖 grill (guests bring their own charcoal & food).
It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to the award winning Carnfunnock Country Park & Mattie’s Meeting House for food 🍽🍷& entertainment, Cairndhu Golf 🏌️♂️🏌️♀️ Course & is the gateway to the stunning Glens of Antrim. Ballygally Break Away is ideal for a relaxing short break & holiday.
