It was an absolute honour to be invited along to a wreath making class with a difference this evening.

Sitting in Edinburgh, joined by the gorgeous Aggie from Royal Chundu Zambezi River Lodge via zoom, she told us how at the end of the day the ladies from her village get together to out the world to rights, but they always have something to keep their hands busy.

Using the beautiful “chitenge” fabric strips, we fashioned our wreaths while Aggie described life in Zambia - and the “Zambezi Joy Society” which she co-founded during the pandemic, to spread cheer around the world and uplift and empower the artisans and individuals living around the hotel, which is close to Vic Falls in Zambia.

There is something really therapeutic doing something with your hands, slowing down and appreciating the joy of connecting with colleagues and friends - in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and 🇿🇲
