Little Crifts Cottage is a new, architect-designed, eco-build holiday cottage, just outside the moorland village of Altarnun, near Launceston in North Cornwall. The cottage is located on a working smallholding, within the dramatically scenic Bodmin Moor Cornwall AONB – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty benefiting from similar protections to National Parks.Little Crifts Cottage sleeps

four and is luxuriously equipped, with natural slate floors, a large decked veranda for outdoor dining, and underfloor heating and a wood burning stove for those chilly nights. We welcome well behaved dogs.Perfectly located to make the best of beautiful Bodmin Moor, a haven for walkers and horse riders, the cottage is also within easy reach of the stunning North Cornwall coast, and makes a great base for exploring the whole of Cornwall and West Devon.

Existing on the very edge of the coastline, the is exposed to the elements. That's why it's more important than ever to stay safe and protect yourself from sun exposure during the summer months ☀️🌡️

🌤️ Check the weather forecast before your walk.
📈 Plan a walk that suits your fitness level.
🕶️ Wear sun protection: sun cream, sun hat & appropriate layers.
📞 Let someone know where you are going and what time you are likely to be back - mobile phone reception is patchy on the coast.
💧 Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. Check for water refill points on the app.
🆘 Dial 999 if you or someone you are with is showing signs of heat stroke.
