Day Two Crossey's QM2 Adventure Location ~ Sea Day A day wasted trying to sort out my damaged suitcase!! 🤬 This morning we had a work session on Cunard’s four Queens which was very interesting. We then had free to time enjoy the ship and have lunch BUT unfortunately I had to spend this time queuing to speak to someone regarding an update on my suitcase. After all the waiting yesterday still no one knew anything about it so I had to explain once again even though someone to taken the details and videoed/photo my case! I then had to go back to my cabin to get the case and bring it back to reception and go back to the queue! I refused to sign the waiver form so we come to a stand off as they STILL wanted to get a carpenter to fix it by glueing it back together! By this point I had been in touch with Delsey USA and sent videos and pictures of the damage. They have confirmed in writing the case CANNOT be repaired and the case has had major impact for the damage caused. Their suitcases are extremely strong. I missed lunch with the group and was absolutely raging by this point so I went back to the cabin to calm down and ordered a club sandwich 🥪 😡 As I’m sure you can imagine this has taken hours of my time to keep chasing. I left the case with them so someone could assess the damage and guess what!! It’s come back in a worse state than I left it even after refusing to sign the form! This is certainly not the experience I imagined I would have with Cunard and at this point in time I just want to get off and go home 🏡 I’ve been invited to do a podcast on the way I’ve been treated so watch this space….
