A honeymoon to Indonesia with a difference 🇮🇩😍

These fantastic pictures are from my clients’ .pp and Charlies honeymoon this summer to Bali and Lombok, where they hiked over 3000 metres to the top of Mount Rinjani. This was combined with staying in Ubud, Sanur and Senggigi for a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.

I climbed Mount Rinjani 10 years ago, and it's still one of my favourite hikes. The scenery is incredible, there are hot springs to swim in and the famous crater lake which is 2000 metres above sea level, and has a smaller active volcano in the middle!

I'm excited to share these amazing pictures from my customers’ recent honeymoon in South Africa and Seychelles!

The adventure began in one of my favourite cities, Cape Town, followed by a luxury safari, and it finished by relaxing on some of the best beaches in the world!

I love my job, and taking the stress away from organising a complex trip is one of the main reasons so many people choose to book with me and Travel Counsellors. The recent IT outage on Friday caused many flight cancellations and delays, and is a perfect example of travel not always being straight forward. This is why it's so important to book with someone you can trust, who will do everything possible to make sure you have the best holiday, and resolve any issues.

I can’t believe it’s halfway through 2024, and what a busy year it has been!

I'm thrilled to share that recently my travel business hit £1,000,000 in bookings since I launched it 2.5 years ago. Thank you to everyone who has booked, reviewed, referred, or tagged me in your travel adventures ✈️🌎🙌

My main goal for my business has always been to create unforgettable trips for my customers, and provide a service you can't get booking online, or booking on the high street! I have absolutely loved being able to do this, and over the last 12 months, I have received a 100/100 for my NPS score from over 50 clients who reviewed their experience of booking with me, so it's amazing to know my customers feel the same way 🙏

I've been very quiet on social media, as I have been busy working on a new travel project aimed at inspiring the next generation to travel the world. 🌍✈️ - I'm very excited to say this will be launching very soon, so keep your eyes peeled...

And last but not least, I’m proud to share that have been nominated for the ‘Best National Travel Retailer’ award at the British Travel Awards 2024, one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. 🏆 - I will share the voting link in my stories later, so please spare 2 mins and vote for us!

I just wanted to share a quick story about how Brittany and Sam's honeymoon ended, and one of the benefits of booking your holiday with myself and Travel Counsellors.

Most of the time holidays do go to plan, but after a brilliant 10 days, just before Sam and Brittany were due to set off to the airport, their flights home were changed by the airline from 9pm that evening to 9am the following morning!

However, before they had even seen that their flights had changed, our in-resort team had already made arrangements for Brittany and Sam to stay an extra night at the hotel covered by the airline, and sent them a message to explain everything.

It wasn't the ideal ending to a honeymoon, but it was resolved quickly, and it meant avoiding a stressful time to get accommodation rebooked and paid for, or a night sleeping at the airport, which unfortunately did happen to some people.

This is a just small example of the difference it can make booking your holiday with myself and Travel Counsellors, and how having 24/7 support while you're away can make even the most stressful situation, much easier!

🇿🇦 This week, as part of my adventure and touring training, I've been working with Sense of Africa who are our fantastic DMC (Destination Management Company) in South Africa 🇿🇦

South Africa is one of my top selling destinations, and it's easy to see why! With some of the best wildlife viewing and safari lodges on earth, cosmopolitan cities, golden sand beaches, award winning food and vineyards, it really is a destination that offers something for everyone.

My lovely customer .t.fitness sent me these amazing pictures from her family's adventure in South Africa, which I booked in partnership with Sense of Africa.

On arrival into Cape Town, Harriet and her family were met by our representative, who took them by private transfer to Camps Bay, where they could relax by the beach and explore Cape Town!

A hire car was then delivered to their accommodation in Camps Bay, and they set off on an adventure along the beautiful Garden Route, stopping off in the main areas and taking in the stunning scenery.

Whale watching, safaris, swimming with seals (or sharks!), penguins, vineyard tours, and hiking in national parks are just a few of the endless possibilities.

As we head into July, I wanted to share some of the amazing trips I’ve booked for my customers in June and highlight some of the things they have to look forward to 🙌
