Due to ongoing heavy snowfall, the runway at Leeds Bradford remains closed until further notice. Our teams are working hard to reopen it as soon as it is safe to do so.
Customers are advised to contact their airline for the most up-to-date information regarding their flight before travelling to the airport.

Due to the high volume of customers in the departure lounge, we may need to temporarily restrict access through security, this will be managed in flight priority order. Our operations team will be on hand to assist, please listen out for announcements within the terminal.

Don't forget:
👜 Empty your pockets into your bag
🧢 Remove belts, hats, and scarves
🧥 Take off coats, jackets and hoodies
👢 Remove boots or other footwear that covers your ankle
✋ Leave everything inside your bag including liquids and electronics (this includes gels, creams, pastes, aerosols and other items with similar consistencies that take the form of the container)
💧 Liquids, gels and aerosol containers carrying up to 100ml are allowed and need to remain in your cabin baggage
& Just remember... it's in the bag!

National Highway has issued a warning to all customers flying from Manchester Airport throughout June, July & August, to leave extra time for travel after announcing that parts of the M56 between junctions 5 & 6 will be closed during specific dates for resurfacing slip roads as well as replacing road markings and bridge joints.
