It’s all about the sheep and lambs on our walk today. It’s lovely to see them enjoying the warmer weather and the lambs frolicking – they look very happy and content.

Brass Castle, a luxury farmhouse sleeping up to 12 guests in 6 spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Situated in a private woodland estate within the Washburn Valley, the stunning views sweep over Lindley Reservoir and beyond.

Facilities include a large family kitchen, a huge living room, log burner, hot tub, a games room, and lots of outside space with games to play in the garden. There are ample walks from the door, so many places to explore, and to top that we welcome up to two dogs!

This house is perfect for family celebrations and is close to the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, where you will find many attractions the famous Betty’s tearoom, Valley Gardens, Turkish Baths, museums and an abundance of shops and eateries. Other nearby attractions include RHS at Harlow Carr, the historic Ripon town, Knaresborough, Otley and Ilkley, and of course the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Not enough room? Next door is a dog friendly cosy contemporary cottage, sleeping two with private hot tub and grounds.

Thank you for the lovely reviews we have received over the past year, it means so much and we really appreciate them.

Here are a few photos at the properties leading up to Christmas. The amazing light display is from the ‘Glow’ event at RHS Harlow Carr Gardens, practically on our doorstep, a beautiful place to visit at any time of year, with the added bonus of a branch of the famous 'Betty's' teashop in their grounds. Oh those Fat Rascals...

We had a potastic day yesterday sorting the pots and borders and giving everything a much needed drink. The sun was shining and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. Have a good weekend everyone.
