Throwing it back 2 weeks ago to when we hosted our 4th annual 'Sim & Media Training' Workshop for attendees of the Ginetta Cars Junior Scholarship.

One of the highlights of our year and spread across 4 consecutive days this time, it's always a pleasure to team up with ITV's Louise Goodman , who delivers the wonderful media training for these youngsters, to complement their driver training work on the simulator.

Delighted to say that no less than 7 of the drivers who attended our Workshop made it through to finals day on the Scholarship itself, including the ultimate winner of the competition Chase Fernandez ! Many congratulations Chase! 👏🏆

Chase become our 3rd Scholarship winner from 4 years of hosting the Sim & Media Workshops, following in the footsteps of Tom Lebbon and Maurice Henry Racing , a stat of which we are immensely proud 🙌

Fun facts - over the 4 days of the workshop we....

- .....worked with 15 different Junior drivers (25% of the total Scholarship entry)

- .....racked up nearly 1,000 simulated laps on Blyton Park Driving Centre 🏎

- .. recorded over 3,000 hits on our BlazePod Reaction Wall! 🚥

✴️ Simulator Event Hire - ATD Automotive Birthday Party! ✴️

Last Friday we had the pleasure of attending Attention to Detail - ATD Detailing 3rd Birthday event in Beverley, with our seat racer simulator rig, to provide guests with a bit of fun and friendly racing competition on the evening!

Many ATD staff, suppliers & guests took part in the Fastest Lap Shootout Competition, and with some big prizes up for grabs, things were getting pretty serious as the night went on!

Who's excited for the last round of British GT and support Donington Park this weekend?!

One Championship we'll be taking a particularly keen interest in is the Ginetta Cars GT5 Challenge, as two of our long term sim customers go head to head (with 4 others in mathematical contention) for title glory! 😎👌

Harley Haughton Racing and Will Jenkins Racing are separated by just 13 points at the sharp end, with 3 races to decide the outcome! It's been an absolute pleasure working with both Harley and Will these last 2 years; without doubt two of our fastest ever sim customers, and both talented young racers with bright futures ahead of them.....we can't call it, so all we can say is 'may the best man win!' 🏆

✴️ CALLING ALL FEMALE RACING DRIVERS! ✴️

There are a limited numer of spaces still available on British Women Racing Drivers' Club winter training events!

We are delighted to be hosting the 'Sim, Reaction and Mindfulness Training' event for a select group of 8 BWRDC members at SIMTrack on Tuesday 25th October!

4 people will be on our state of the art GT simulator in the morning with coaching from Katie Milner] , whilst the other 4 will have a factory tour and mind coaching session with Danielle Simpson before swapping over. Everyone can choose which car and track they would like to practice on, everyone will have approximately one hour on the simulator. Lunch and refreshments will be included.

The cost for the day is £325.

The BWRDC winter training events will give members the opportunity to develop their skills ahead of the new season and connect with experts from all areas of motorsport.

Spaces are limited and open to existing or new BWRDC members only.

Wishing our outgoing Simulator Data Engineer, Jack Smith , all the very best as he leaves us to return to his Motorsport Engineering studies at UCLAN University.

Jack's contribution to our team has been enormous over the last year, and we can't thank him enough for all of his hard work and dedication to the job, which has helped move us forwards in so many areas. 👌

It was great to see during his year with us that Jack also went from being a pro sim racer, to a real life racing driver, as he got his racing licence and competed in his first ever race just a few weeks ago, bagging a podium no less!

There is no doubt he will be missed by staff & customers alike 😔.

Jack will be replaced by Dominik Luczak , who joins us on 5th September. 👍

Something a bit different to the norm last week, when we spent two days as part of the wonderful 'Yorshire Elegance' classic car event organised by The Fast Lane Club. 😎

Day one was at the fabulous Bowcliffe Hall near Wetherby, where we were invited along with Ginetta Cars to share a stand with our good friends at Chequered Flag Motorsport, and visitors were treated to a 'Timed Run Challenge' up the classic Harewood Hill Climb course on our mobile simulator!

For day 2, we headed up the road to our satellite simulator facility at the stunning Grantley Hall ......here, guests of the Fast Lane Club's driving tour were invited to come and sample our top end racing simulator in the Grantley-SIMTrack suite, whilst enjoying the luxurious hospitality at this amazing venue!

A big thank you to all involved with putting on this incredible event, and for allowing us to play a small part in the proceedings.😊

This week saw our annual event hosting a group of first year Motorsport Engineering students from UCLAN University for a Workshop Day. UCLan Motorsport

All of the students were treated to 1-2-1 coached sessions in our flagship GT race car simulator, followed by a Fastest Lap Shootout competition!
They also enjoyed a tour of the Ginetta Cars factory and a presentation on 'Simulation & Data in Motorsport'.

It's always great to see the next generation of motorsport engineering talent coming through the ranks and giving them an insight into what we do as a professional driver training simulator centre! 🙂
