WOW WHAT A DAY...,..

So the snow started falling Saturday evening and continued for much of Sunday leaving a considerable accumulation. Mother Nature is an unbelievable force, providing us with so much beauty but every now and again she really does become the most incredible nuisance.....

Today, Monday 6 January, the start of Infinite Ambience Yoga & Pilates - Morley & Surrounding Areas 2025, BLAST OFF DAY has not been easy. Travelling around the city has been difficult and carparks treacherous. However, still my amazing Pilates and Yoga folk battle the elements to get to class.

I appreciate you all so much for risking travelling into Morley to attend class today and I hope you all arrived home safely.

Hopefully, Mum Nature will be more considerate for the rest of the week and make life a little easier for all of us.

HAPPY BOXING DAY

THURSDAY 26 DECEMBER 2024

Why is the day after Christmas Day called Boxing Day? In the past, very wealthy individuals who could afford to hire servants would grant their employees a day off after Christmas Day. The rich would provide donations in boxes for the poor.

Today, Boxing day is commonly spent shopping in sales or watching sports. For many people Christmas is not enjoyable and can generate more stress and anxiety. Yoga can offer relief from overwhelming feelings.

Pranayama is a Hatha Yoga developmental stage involving the practice of breath control exercises. Nadi Shodhana (alternative nostril breathing) is a great balancing exercise that can reduce stress and anxiety.
