UPDATE FROM THE RETREAT…..NOW HEAVEN CULTURE.

The Retreat’s closure has been devastating and a shock to us all.
Along with Yvonne and Vicki, the previous owners, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our lovely staff both past and present, for their hard work, loyalty and professionalism.
Their dedication helped to make The Retreat the wonderful and unique place that it was.
Thank you to those who are helping with the sad task of emptying The Retreat.

Thanks to Lou Platt, I’ve been able to secure a couple of floors at Blush in Getliffes yard for six months which will provide Beauty and reception staff with jobs for this period and beyond if we are successful.
This will enable us to honour client bookings and gift vouchers sold by The Retreat, as well as service new clients and we extend a very warm welcome to all clients old and new.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all our staff, clients and friends who have sent us their good wishes and support.

To our wonderful bistro staff, who we have sadly been unable to accommodate and will miss dreadfully, we thank them for all their hard work and wish them every success in whatever they do.
Likewise we will miss and thank our lovely hairdressers who have always been such a key part of The Retreat.

We do hope that you will support us in our new endeavour and continue to come to us for all your beauty needs and we look forward to welcoming you to :

Sorry for this late post but we have had some technical difficulties.

It is with the utmost sadness that we must inform you that The Retreat had to close its doors on 1st June 2024.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause and allow me to thank you for all your custom and loyalty over the years.

There are no words that will convey our disappointment and regret that we have had to take this course of action because of massive increases in costs and falling demand. However, we hope you will understand how difficult times have become for small businesses such as ourselves.

We realise that this will be an enormous shock and will be upsetting for many and so in order not to disappoint clients who have booked appointments and to honour the Retreat’s commitments on Vouchers, we will be setting up a Pop Up Salon called ‘Heaven Culture’ for six months based at blush in Getliffe’s Yard, Leek.

During this time, Heaven Culture will take on all the Beauty bookings from The Retreat together with honouring outstanding Retreat vouchers and courses.

For Laser clients, Yvonne has very kindly agreed to honour all outstanding courses at her home in Congleton. Existing appointments will stand, but if you would like to alter your appointment, please call her on 07816 310576.

We do hope that you will support us in this new endeavour and continue to come to us for all your beauty treatments.

For our Easytone members, we are currently trying to source a new location so that you can continue to use ‘the chairs’, however we haven’t yet found any suitable premises, but we will keep you updated on developments.

Sadly the Bistro and Cottage have had to close as we do not have room to be able to accommodate these activities.

Please do come and support us at Heaven Culture so that we continue to provide the wonderful beauty services that you have always enjoyed.

Had a lovely quiet session on the EasyTone chairs and then had lunch and coffee in the bistro this afternoon. I must say that the fish goujon bap with chips and tartare sauce was particularly yummy - and great value too!
