Scarborough Lecture: Women and Magna Carta

By best-selling non-fiction historical author Sharon Bennett Connolly FRHistS.

Our opening lecture will look at those women who influenced Magna Carta, or lived through it - and those who used it to assert their rights.

7.30pm Thursday 26th September.
Doors open from 7.00pm, with tea and coffee available. The lecture will take place at 7.30pm, at the Rattray Lecture Theatre, University of Leicester, University Road, Leicester (LE1 7RH). Non-members welcome!

I’veneve done this Welcome to the page thing before 😮 So, actually, as well as being a shout out to my newest followers, it’s also a shout to everyone who’s been here since day one and everybody in between! I am genuinely excited to have you all onboard!

I know there’s not been a load going on of late (damn you day job! 😩) but I am actively writing the next Hidden Histories episode, I’m giving some guided walks in a couple of weeks time (see pinned post above 👆) as well as some spooky ones at the end of October. I’m also writing a couple more Heritage Panels for the city, which is always exciting!
