Should you visit Masjid Al Aqsa?
Listen to a local shop keeper why you SHOULD.
The Dome of the Rock, known as Qubbat al-Sakhrah in Arabic.
The Dome of the Rock, known as Qubbat al-Sakhrah in Arabic, was completed in 691-692 CE under the Umayyad Caliphate. It is part of Masjid Al Aqsa and is revered in Islam as the site where the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is believed to have ascended to heaven during the Isra and Mi'raj. The structure is renowned for its architectural beauty, featuring an octagonal base and a large gilded dome, with intricate mosaics and calligraphy.
Are you attending the London March this Saturday? Look out for the Zaarvel bag wearing guy. You can’t miss him.
May Allah accept all our duas and bring permanent peace and ease for all our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Tour changed to 26th May to 1st June 2024. Limited spaces left.
Why do we see the Dome of the Rock so much in posts and posters?
A. The Arabic name for the Dome of the Rock is "Qubbat al-Sakhrah" (قبة الصخرة).
B. The Dome of the Rock was built to assert Islamic presence and sovereignty over Jerusalem and definitely does that.
C. Built 691 CE by the Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik and still standing!
D. It is where Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven from the site during his Night Journey. Do we need a better reason?
E. Yes, it is part of masjid Al Aqsa. Book your guided tour with Zaarvel to learn more of your Islamic history and be part of the current history unfolding.
Asssalllaaamallaikuuuum.
I didn’t mean to sound flat, was actually very excited being high up in the mountain of Jericho. Loved the cable ride!
Hang on!
Did you know Jericho is the lowest (below sea level) inhabited place in the world? Even your ears pop when you are driving down there. We visited the cafe run by Ala in the mountains(only way up is by the cable car). Definitely worth the view and meeting the friendly staff at the cafe.
Alhamdulillah.
What a blessing. The whole group is absolutely mesmerised and still in shock and amazement.

Farewell to Al Aqsa
Sadly last day for our group who travelled to Al Aqsa. Shaykh Uthman Lateef reminded us today in his seminar on history of Palestine, always seize the opportunity to do good. This is what this incredible group did by visiting Al Aqsa and supporting the defenders of Al Aqsa in this crucial time.
