Battlefield Journey Ltd Battlefield Journey Ltd, in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, runs a variety of cycling and walking tours of the Battlefields or Northwest Europe.

We have a wide range of scheduled visits available for groups and individuals. Walking and cycling the battlefields gives you a unique insight into the difficulties confronting soldiers in battle, and a real feel for the geography. In addition to visiting all the major sites, cycling and walking enables you to visit places rarely included in standard itineraries.

London Landmarks half marathon in the City
London Landmarks half marathon in the City

It was a pleasure to share the streets today on our City of London walk with all the runners who took part in the London Landmarks half marathon. Every one of them a star!

Walking the East End markets today. The sun is out and a great atmosphere in Columbia Road.

Day 3 of our Ypres cycle. A wet and windy visit to Tyne Cot cemetery - unusually quiet here today and all the more moving.

Day 2 of our latest Ypres cycle. Very wet and windy! So, good to hear a pipe band at the Menin Gate this evening. Stirring stuff - good for the spirit and the soul!

Exploring the area to the west of Arnhem today and at the furthest point finding the drop zones and landing zones for the airborne troops.

Came across this band near Columbia Road today on our East End walk. Just the ticket for a lazy Sunday morning.
