Herefordshire's Summer of Fun - FREE Activities - Leominster

The town of Leominster looks forward to welcoming you to try your hand at something new over the county's two-week Summer of Fun, which runs from the 19 to the 30 August.

Activities will take place from 10am to 4pm each day and the specific dates and activities for Leominster (all at The Grange) are:

Wednesday 21 August
Climbing Wall, Face Painting & Craft Workshop

Thursday 22 August
Surf Simulator, Face Painting & Craft Workshop

Wednesday 28 August
Archery, Face Painting & Balloon Modelling

Thursday 29 August
Penalty Shoot-out, Circus Skills & Craft Workshop

🗺️ In addition to these fantastic free activities, there is also a free trail in the town centre; leaflets can be collected from the Tourist Information Centre at Town Council Offices

Another insight into our vendors for this year..

🍦Kelsmor Dairy produce milk and cream from their own herd of Guernsey cows, from their Herefordshire based farm to produce award winning ice cream

🍹Boozey Belles Vintage Cocktails are another regular vendor with us at the Food Fayre, they offer a beautiful range of infused spirits served in beautiful vintage-inspired bottles that you can use time and time again.

🍫 Good & proper Brownies ️ are a small family business making lovely chocolate brownies, whoopie pies, chocolate cupcake and blondies all made with love.

🌶️ Case for Cooking are Leominster Food Fayre regulars, offering easy-to-use spice kits, rubs and cooking pastes to add a bit of flavour to your meals!

🥔 Lovely Spudly are a newly founded Leominster business offering high quality, home-made loaded jacket potatoes.

🧇The Van Waffle Company joined us for Independents Day earlier in the year, and we can’t wait to welcome them and their freshly made Belgian waffles back to Leominster!

Please be aware, The Leominster Food Fayre and Leominster Victorian Street Market are events exclusively run by Leominster Town Council. Scam posts with regards to stall bookings and festive events are becoming increasingly more common. Any communication regarding Leominster Town Council events will come from our Market and Events Manager, who can be contacted at [email protected].

We are aware there are some genuine festive events on in the town that coincide with the dates of the Victorian Street Market. We advise anyone to ring these venues directly to ensure credibility before sending any funds over.

Children and young people can have a go at a host of fun activities, from the adventurous to the arty.

You can find them in Etnam Street Car Park on the second Saturday of every month!

Here's the line up for Saturday's market. We'll have:

Local lamb, pork, cider, pies, veg, fruit, cheese, bread, cakes, sauces & spices, beeswax products, chocolate, honey and cut flowers 💐

Plus don't forget you now get 2 hours' free parking in Etnam Street Car Park. Right on our doorstep🚗

🎉 Exciting News for Herefordshire! 🎉
We’re delighted to share that Herefordshire Cultural Partnership has been awarded £596,000 through Arts Council England’s Place Partnership Programme, which is funded through the National Lottery.
Over the next three years, the ‘Our Place’ programme will establish a new model for community arts in one of the UK's most rural counties, improving the quality of life through enhanced cultural opportunities.
The programme will be led by Herefordshire Cultural Partnership and delivered by three established local cultural organisations: Leominster Cultural Consortium, Rural Media, and Meadow Arts. They will collaborate with local communities to create and showcase live performances, digital content, and visual art.
The programme has also received £86,400 in funding from Herefordshire Council under the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and £15,000 from public health funding.
