2003 was a historical year. The Black Eye Peas had the biggest selling single of 2003 with ‘Where is the Love’. Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean and Matrix Reloaded were the 3 biggest movies of the year. England won the rugby World Cup in Australia. Oh…and on October 29th in 2003, in a small village in Herefordshire Liquitech was born.

At first Liquitech comprised one man, one woman, two teenage sons, one teenage daughter, a kitchen for an office, a van and a dog - and work was hard to come by. And now, having just celebrated our 20th anniversary, we’ve grown to be the UK’s leading sprinkler tank inspection and maintenance company – with a team of 28 people working out of a modern office suite. We also have a fleet of vehicles and a very well-equipped workshop. And these days we regularly have three dogs in the office – which is still in Pembridge, a small village in Herefordshire.

In our twenty years we’ve inspected thousands of sprinkler tanks and repaired or refurbished just as many spread across the whole of the UK and Ireland. We assisted in writing the recent TB203 tanks inspection standards. We have a growing and loyal client base, for which we are very grateful.

We’re continuing to develop and look forward to a big celebration when we reach our 25th anniversary.

Nice little replacement tank project completed. We disconnected the old pipework, removed the old tank, installed the new tank, connected new pipework, installed new lagging with trace heating and installed a walkway around the tank that is partially buried. Great job by the team and we have a very happy client.

Refurb or replace? A picture in from our site Foreman.
We surveyed this tank a few months back, carried out ultrasonic testing on the panels and recommended that the tank was decommissioned and replaced. Our guys are on site dismantling this one at moment and a new tank will go in its place.

These two tanks are currently mid way through their refurbishment, which includes new liners and roof structures. A nice clean site with plenty of room as well.

Happy New Year! Our first week of 2022 is done, a couple sprinkler tanks refurbished thanks to the site crews! Well done to Ryan, Ben, Chris and Greg for passing their PASMA training today. Also well done to Andrew, Carl, Konrad and Max for passing their SSSTS training over the last two days. It's been a busy one!
