Escape the everyday..... our cosy one bedroom cottage is available all year round for romantic, peaceful breaks. We buffed, painted and polished to welcome guests from Spring 2021 - its completely self-contained with a king sized bed, Netflix, a kitchen with everything you need to make toast or a Sunday roast and a stylish shower room.

Our Story

Each tent is set on a raised wooden deck with a proper king-sized bed, proper duvets, pillows and crisp white sheets. David and Moira are very clear that the most important things when taking a restful break away are a good night’s sleep and a good mug of coffee in the morning so the kitchen is equipped with (hopefully!) everything you need – cafetieres, a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave with crockery and cutlery galore. And, even though you are spending nights under canvas, there is a smart, heated shower room and proper flushing loos- no compost toilets allowed! And we're very happy to put bottles of wine in the freezer if it needs chilling quickly. If you are feel like easing your way off the chairs, there are lots of local walks, stunning National Trust properties nearby, the famous Black and White trail or you could head off for foodie adventures in Hereford or Ludlow – both are around 13 miles away. And don’t forget – you are in the home of proper cider so it would be rude not to visit a couple of local producers while you are here. The tents are lit by candle and lanterns which will mean you can sit and watch the stars of an evening without any ambient light- we get some great skies here. There is no electricity in the tents because we want people to stop work while they are here! But we have plug points in the kitchen so you can charge phones, iPads or use hair straighteners! You are 'Glamping' after all :-)
