At our event, the collective, this Sunday , we have two special guests on the lineup who were integral to the renovation . This will be the perfect opportunity to come and meet them.

Our interior designer Alex McKay will be at the Stables on Sunday, her talk ‘Make it YOUR space’ will start at 13.30.
‘We will discuss the importance of starting with a plan and defining your story or brand to create connection and meaning in your interior spaces. How to look around you and work with what you have whilst incorporating items creatively to support local makers and businesses to create connections.’

created all the Curtains, Blinds and Soft Furnishings for Pratis House.
She creates beautiful bespoke pieces, everything is handmade, using a combination of traditional and modern hand sewing techniques. She offers a complete measure, make up and installation, or just to make one simple cushion, each piece is given the same amount of attention to detail. Everything is made to measure, so whatever you choose it will be unique and reflect your personal taste and style.

Just 4 miles from Pratis House is Keil's Den. This ancient gorge woodland has a network of paths and is a wonderful spot to explore.

The Keil Burn flows through Keil's Den, draining the area to the North and flowing into the Forth at Largo Harbour. The Den supports a variety of flora and fauna. The main tree types include ash, beech, sycamore, oak, elm and birch. From bluebells in the Spring, to beautiful autumn colours just now, there is always something of interest making this spot worth a visit all year round.
