"Beautiful rural location with stunning views for total relaxation with family and pets! Warm, clean and well equipped pods, with a hot and powerful shower!

The BBQ hut is brilliant for getting together with friends round a cosy fire.

This is a hilly area, great for walking, including climbing largo law or local villages and beaches.

Ron is extremely helpful."

Accommodation was clean and well equipped, had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Location is perfect, easy to locate, so peaceful and the views are amazing.

Did you know is home to several Hippos? This rare colourful type is only spotted in !

It's one of the town's amazing collection of public artworks dating from the 1960s to the present

Some of the other quirky pieces include giant mushrooms and a concrete TV and armchairs! 🎨

"We absolutely loved our stay. Very clean and well equipped, the location was perfect and views stunning. The owner popped down to say hello when he spotted us by the fire pit which was nice, Ron was very friendly. Check in and out was super easy
I would and have recommended to my friends and family and will book again."

"Fantastic place to stay, beautiful, extraordinary surroundings, very friendly host. Places like Dundee and St Andrews close by. Shopping in Leven (Lidl, Aldi, Sainsbury- 10 minute drive). Lovely shower (with heated towell rail), toilet, small fridge, microwave and everything you need to cook a meal. Small TV. We stayed with our 2 teenagers for 5 nights and then it is a bit too small and no wifi... The road up the hill is indeed steep, but that is nothing strange in the country side of Scotland. Don’t hesitate, this is a great place to be."

We’re celebrating the great outdoors this week with Fife Outdoor Activities Week and there are some great events still to come with great special offers too!

Take to the water and enjoy the thrill of eFoiling (it’s like flying over water!) or waterskiing and wakeboarding.

If that’s a bit too energetic how about a Seaside Sauna session in the East Neuk or a contemplation hour - a break from the hustle and bustle and a tranquil hour of relaxation.

Take a guided walk on the Fife Pilgrim Way or a town tour in St Andrews, both great for fresh air and exercise plus you’ll discover more about Fife’s fascinating history too.

Get your team together for a game of FootGolf or Disc Golf, a winning combo of football or frisbee and golf!

There are some great workshops too. Sit by the fire surrounded by nature at Silverburn park and enjoy a Whittling Workshop with the Woodswoman creating a beautiful silverbirch bird.
Head to the beautiful East Neuk coast for Seaweed Foraging on the Rocks where you will immerse yourself in the wonders of seaweed, finishing with a tasty dinner cooked on the shore with wild fresh ingredients.
Grab your camera for a (FREE) unique Miniature Figure Photographic Workshop - explore the art of capturing miniature figures in a natural outdoor setting and learn new techniques and get hands-on tips from professionals.

If you like spectator sports there are a couple of great events on. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship starts on Thursday with the final on Sunday at the world-famous Old Course in St Andrews. Knockhill Racing Circuit hosts the Best of Scottish Motorsport Finale next weekend with a thrilling weekend of action.

Fife Climate Festival continues, finishing on Saturday with the Big Day Oot at Silverburn Park in Leven which will have plenty of fun activities for all ages.
