Attention all botanists and lovers of all things wild....this may look like a not so interesting bank on the River Cover but this morning my walking buddy Mags Cran and myself counted 21 species of flora in a patch no greater than 2 x 2m! List available!!

As promised...a few of the delights on our river bank this morning...gotta love April!!

The bank over the stepping stones, on the north side of the River Cover, is a blanket of celandines! The woods to the left are coming alive with wild flowers...we have wood anenome, primroses, dogs mercury, ransomes, woodruff and early purple orchids all putting on a show! Watch this space for more photos 😊
