well here we are folks, next Monday the 23rd of September is the last week of opening for our yurts for the 2024 season. Always a mixture of feelings, grateful for the summer sunshine and a wonderful flow of guests coming through our farm gates. Sad to be coming to the end of Summer, but we have lots of treats coming along for the Autumn season. We have availability for one night stays in the yurts Monday to Thursday and the last weekend of September at a two night or three night option.

We are putting together some circular walks from the farm for those days when you just want to stay local - there are lots of footpaths and bridle ways here in west devon - some using old droving lanes and green lanes which take you off the small by roads into some beautiful devon landscapes - the tamara way - a stunning new route opened this year running along the valley of the river tamar which divides Devon and Cornwall passes through our local village of kelly routes

And so with a blink of the eye, peak Summer is nearly over and we enter those warm days of September where the late summer sun is most welcome, fruit hangs heavy on the trees, a perfect time for foraging and eating well, the beaches of Devon and Cornwall are quiet and we can help you find one all to yourselves if that is your preference. Return to Borough Farm for a hot tub under the stars or a private sauna session for you and your loved ones. We only have three full weekends remaining for this season. The weekends of September the 13th, 20th and 27th have availability at the moment, if you would like a one night weekend stay we have this Friday in little links, or Friday the 6th in Little links, and then that's it until 2025 !

Schools will soon be back for the Autumn term, but, there are still a few days left of August to celebrate the Summer, what a lovely summer we have had so far at the farm with lots of appreciative and delightful guests coming through our farm gates and leaving here very happy. These are our last few nights remaining here at Borough Farm for this summer holiday, we have little links yurt available for a one night on Friday the 30th of August complete with its own private hot tub, the Granary Barn is available for the bank holiday monday, the 26th and 27th of August, plus both barns are currently available next weekend - the granary for a two night break the 30th and 31st August and the yard for a three night weekend break 30th aug to 1st sept. All our accomodation is dog friendly, all are welcome to book a private sauna session in our wonderful panoramic sauna overlooking dartmoor national park.

The Barns at Borough have been much enjoyed and we have had very happy guests over the past few months, we only have a few dates available for the remaining summer holidays. The Yard barn has availability on the 11th and 12th of August and the 19th to the 22nd of August
all other dates are then booked until the weekend of the 30th of August.

The Granary has availability the 4th of August, the 18th to the 22nd of August and the 26th to the 29th of August.
Then all dates are then booked until the weekend of the 30th of August.

Whilst guests are booking later than normal this year, we are taking bookings every day now, so if you want to secure your favoured holiday dates, do get in touch with Julia at Borough Farm as soon as possible to avoid disappointment

We are totally spoilt for choice here in West Devon as to which coastline to head to, North or South ? - this is Duckpool on the North Cornwall coast, some of our other favourite haunts are crackington haven, trebarwith strand and sandymouth, these coastlines are dramatic with fantastic waves when you are on the beach, and amazing views when you head up to the coastal paths above, which is your favourite ? When staying with us here at Borough farm we can offer lots of ideas to satisfy your particular needs when it comes to heading to the coast.

Let us introduce ourselves again we haven’t done that for a while. Here at Borough farm we embrace nature to create a relaxing stay for our guests either in one of our two luxury yurts or our beautifully converted Barns - all have amazing views over this beautiful devon landscape and celebrate Dartmoor National Park in the distance. Our yurts and barns have access to private log fired hot tubs and a beautiful panoramic sauna. There are friendly rare breed farm animals to get to know and of course we are dog friendly so come along with your four-legged friends and your human friends and family to celebrate all that is great about Devon.

At last ... it feels like Summer ! - the weather is looking great for this weekend and we can't bear it that we have yurts free to enjoy this beautiful weather and Devon in May and June is at it's absolute best, we have two or three night discounts in operation for this weekend. We know we have just had a bank holiday and schools have only just gone back from half term but if you are local and want to get away for a few days this weekend for a very reasonable price to soak up the fresh air and sunshine and fabulous views here is your chance. Here at Borough Farm we celebrate the great outdoors with open fires to cook on, private log fired hot tubs to bathe in, luxurious hammocks to lounge in, you can star gaze, bird watch, take in some stunning walks from the farm, along the coast path or on dartmoor, dine outdoors on fresh produce from the farm and our local farm shop, or just stay nearby and get to know the beautiful animals that live here. The choice is yours....

We have had lots of lovely returning guests staying with us this half term holiday, and a few new guests who have been enthralled by the Borough Magic and have left us fabulous reviews.
