Yesterday I got the chance to show off our stunning Binevenagh Mountain to the lovely Sinead 🇮🇪 & Louise 🇦🇺 as I took them on a hike around our majestical mountain that really does ignite my soul each time I step foot onto it.

For both ladies this was their first experience on Binevenagh & in did not disappoint.

The scenery was so clear for miles around, the green field of Ireland shone brightly in the morning sun & the landscape was picture perfect.

Such a beautiful day 💕. Thank you for joining me it was an absolute pleasure to take you on your adventure on the Causeway Coast.

When standing on that start line looking around you, you don't know what someone has been through to get there, how they have prepared themselves mentally or physically or what background they have came from - they are all winner.

It takes guts to take that first step to do something you've never done before, but if you can get your mindset right and when you do, you've won the battle.

Hyrox Dublin 2023 ✔️

Yesterday, we put the toe to the start line for our first ever Hyrox competitions in Dublin to take on the women's pro - a tough day, but we did it.

The girls were incredible, very, very proud of their performance & the training they have put in over the last few months

From this, we will take away lots of learning, ways to adapt our training & building us up for our next one 🤣

Have you heard of the new fitness craze that is taking the world by storm - 'Hyrox' ?

Hyrox is a fitness test designed for everyone, it consists of running combined with Functional movements. It's a test to build strength, power & endurance - not only is it designed to test you physically but also mentally & everyone no matter what level you are at can take part.

Over the past 10 months we have been training 'Hyrox' at Ella Mor Health, Fitness & Wellbeing & we are loving it. I have designed various training programmes to suit all levels of fitness giving everyone a chance to try it.

The buzz within the gym has been incredible & we have even encouraged some of our clients to compete in Hyrox Competitions taking Ella Mor - Health, Fitness & Wellbeing to a different level & putting our small town of Limavady on the map.

Ella Mor - Health, Fitness & Wellbeing was represented in Birmingham at the weekend by Ryan with a very impresive time of 1.25 finishing 28th in the Mens Open out of a strong field of athletes.

My training plan has been designed specifically for Hyrox competitions & has given my clients the confidence to compete. Its a plan designed to build strength, improve your running pace & focus on endurance & the results are being achieved 😍👏💪

This weekend I have clients competing in the Pro Women's in Dublin - again Ella Mor Health, Fitness & Wellbeing is getting out there, competing with strong athletes & showing what we have achieved in 10 months 💪 with lots more clients coming through.💪👏

Today's Women's Wellbeing Walk took us along the stunning landscape of Gortmore, we followed the sheep's trails into untouched natural beauty. The sounds of nature echoed all around us, the landscape showing off the colours of autumn so beautifully 😍

On arrival at my family farm, we explore the farmyard, and they got a sneak peak into our little barn project. We made our way through the pen of young sheep, creating a real feel for farming life on our Monday morning adventure.

To give it a little extra personal touch. The ladies got hot apple pie and delicious ice-cream thanks to Ruth and a warm hearty cup of tea thanks to Joan

It was a perfect morning with a fabulous group of ladies

Ladies with World Mental Health Day approaching on Tuesday 10th Octiber with this year's theme 'Mental health is a universal human right’

I will have decided to offer a few options to bring people together, to connect, chat & get active.

Monday 9th October, I will be leading a guided walk on Gortmore - we will enjoy a low-level walk along Gortmore, dropping down onto my grandas' farm to enjoy apple pie and tea/coffee.

Tuesday 10th October - I've set up a fun filled fitness challenge in the gym & encouraging everyone to take part.

Wednesday 11th October - I am offering a sociable walk around Limavady. It's FREe & opened to all ladies who fancy joining me.

Over these past few years, I have been inviting ladies to join me every Monday morning on my Women's Wellbeing Walks around our beautiful area.

These walks are designed to enjoy the outdoors, to feel the benefits nature has to offer, and to make new friends along the way.

A slow, steady pace, taking time to stop & look around. What a perfect way to start the week no matter what level of fitness you have 🙌

We all know nature can generate so many positive emotions, such as calmness, joy, and creativity. It also helps to reduce anxiety and helps with poor mental health & depression.

Not only do i have over 12 years guiding groups around our stunning landscape, but I also have training in the female physiology, su***de awareness, domestic violence awareness, and the impact on children and families and I am fully qualified in my REC First Aid Training.

Today, I had the pleasure of guiding these lovely ladies around Binevenagh from the Western Trust.

A perfect way to start the day. What better place to be than hiking the trails of Binevenagh, showing its beauty & the surrounding landscape off to others 😍.

The sounds of laughter filled the morning air as we ventured along the trails, through the nature reserved passing the wild horses and grazing cattle making our way to the top.

On reaching the top, we stopped to enjoy a well-deserved hot chocolate from the Castlerock, which went down a treat 😋

A morning hike, filled with so much fun, laughter & a chance to make new friends - a perfect start to the day x

What better way to start the day than standing on Binevenagh Mountain looking down at our unique landscape, breathing in the fresh air, and seeing the expression on peoples faces when they see it for the first time 🥰.

It was an early start for today's guests who are visiting the Causeway Coast from Estonia thanks to & I had the privilege of showing them our beautiful Binevenagh Mountain & telling them my own story of how Ella Mor began

No matter how many times I tell my story, I always get a lump in my throat, but I always feel a real sense of pride in telling it, this place 💕 - its spirit, will always ignite my soul ♥️

I hope you all enjoy your time on the Causeway Coast, I know you have lots of exciting things planned, and I hope you will return one day.

I stopped, I sat & I listened

I stopped, I sat, and I listened
For what I was about to see, it was something quite spectacular that I had never seen.

I sat in total amazement as tears rolled down my cheeks. The wind was softly blowing, and I felt the cold air against my right cheek.

The trees were busy dancing, making rustling, crackling sounds. The evening sun shone brightly, creating golden rays of light.

The peacefulness around me, I can only describe as 'just right'. I watched in total amazement as the birds put on the most magnificent sight.

A display of natural beauty flying through the evening sky. Swiftly, soaring high and low playing hello and goodbye.

I sat in total amazement. This display was quite unique. Perhaps it was so special because I took the time to rest my feet.

Mind Over Matter 2023

Where do I begin........ showcasing Binevenagh, the place that has & always will ignite my soul 💕

WHAT A DAY 🥾🌞

26 miles of hiking in a landscape known as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. To showcase the full Binevenagh area and all the little hidden gems not too many know of through my Mind Over Matter Challenge is pretty amazing.

12 hours of laughter, sunshine, maybe a few sore feet 🙈 - friendships were formed

When I started my Mind Over Matter Challenge in 2019, I wanted to show off our amazing landscape, but I also wanted to give people the opportunity to step outside of their comfort zone, try something new and come together to support and encourage one another.

To sign up takes courage especially if you're not a 'hiker' to take part takes 'guts' but if you put your mind to something, you can do it & they all did just that.👏.

Each person will take away a moment from yesterday that they will feel very proud of. They will also have made new friends & memories that will last a lifetime. For me, that's what makes my Mind Over Matter Challenge so special.
