Golden Sands Getaway is a newly opened business in October 2019. We are situated heart of Benone walking distance from Benone Beach, We have two self catering apartments and 6 Luxury Glamping Pods on Site. Benone Beach stretches for over 7 miles from Downhill westwards to where it meets Magilligan Point at the mouth of Lough Foyle and forms part of one of Ireland's longest beaches. Benone Beach, a Blue Flag award winning beach, is popular throughout the year for a variety of outdoor activities and events with great views along the North Coast, to Inishowen in Donegal and to Scotland. Breathe the 'Danny Boy' Air and take in The Local Danny Boy Festival in the home town of the famous song. Jane Ross, who wrote down the Air to the World famous song, lived just a few miles away in Limavady town. Other local annual festivals include The Limavady Jazz & Blues Festival and the Roe Valley Folk Festival. Golden Sands Getaway is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
