What can I do when staying in the Lodges?

There are a variety of bars and restaurants around the marina.

1. Harbour Lights is a bar and restaurant open over the weekend offering the picturesque location to enjoy drinks with friends and family.

2. Vino Marina is wine bar located on the Marina. Here you can sit back and treat yourself to a bottle of wine, cold meats and cheeses.

3. Woodcocks Pub offers a wide range of pub grub in addition to a large area outdoor seating area to enjoy the summer weather.

4. The Bottle & Glass in Harby is an award winning, dog friendly pub & restaurant that promises an unforgettable drinking & dining experience.
5. The Pyewipe Inn is a short walk away along the side of the river. With views of the cathedral and a 20 minute walk from the city centre, what more can you ask for.

6. Dambusters Inn is a short drive away from Burton Waters, located in the village of Scampton. The pubs decor is richly furnished with a private collection of paintings, photographs and memorabilia from military action for men and women who served in ‘Operation Chastise’

What can I do when I’m staying in the lodges?
- The marina has a selection of shops, restaurants, bars/pubs and David Lloyd gym.
- Self-drive day boats can be hired at the marina, from where you can explore the waterways into the heart of Lincoln or out into the stunning Lincolnshire countryside. Lodge guests can enjoy a 10% discount off hire boat bookings
- The marina is also conveniently connected to the Sustrans cycle network, via a footpath, which takes you into the centre of Lincoln.

Our hire boats are back in the water and are ready for the upcoming season. We are taking bookings from the 29th March.
There is no better place to spend a day, than on the water with family and friends.

Our hire boats provide seating for up to 8 people. Two of our fleet have an onboard toilet and sliding roof, which opens, to offer an open air experience, providing lots opportunity for sightseeing down the river. Self-drive boat hire on the Fossdyke has a lot to offer for a family or friends fun experience. New to boating or an experienced boater will easily manage our lovely river cruisers, to help you get away from it all.

Burton Waters will provide you with the tuition you need for a fun day out. Lifejackets, insurance and fuel is included in our prices, to make life simple.
