DEEP CLEAN DAY...‼️🤦‍♀️🤣

That time again.. Another 9 hour round trip to deep clean, stock up and get things ready for our easter guests. 🐣 4 of us on it today 🤷‍♀️ litterally everything pulled out and deep cleaned, all Jet washed outside and glass done plus some little repairs done, all carpets cleaned, stocked up and some new extra little bits added to keep it looking fresh. Thankyou so much to our previous guests for yet again some amazing reviews in the book.. 😘 Some people don't actually see the work it takes to run a holiday home not to mention the £2700 a month it costs us to have but our guests over the past 6 years really do make it all worth while. We can honestly say that in nearly 6 years that almost every single guest has been so respectful and lovely to deal with and to say we rent twice a year all year is absolutely remarkable and we feel very blessed (hopefully guests also see the people that Rachel and I are and the hard work we put in along with our amazing cleaning and hottub team to make our guests time there special) Some owners try to maxinize on profit where as we prefer to offer our accommodation for a fair price to give people a well deserved break. (Everyone deserves that) Also with the deverstating news with the recent caravan fire over at skegness, We just wanted to reasure every single guest that stays with us that our lodge is fully intergrated with smoke & carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguisher & blankets plus first aid kit and all appliances are pat tested along with electricity and gas checks with upto date certificates in place. I know some people have asked recently and have been nervous for obvious reasons. ❤️ ###x

What can we say..! So overwhelmed by what one of our lovely guests did yesterday! 🥹❤️ Such sincere generosity & kindness- Giving up there refundable damage deposit of £75 to us to say thankyou & agreeing that we can donate it to cancer research for my Dad and our 10 thousand steps a day challenge in March plus give our cleaner a little something to say thankyou. We have had some fantastic reviews over the 5 & a half years but this really did touch us. Family is very important to us & time spent with them so this is why we do what we do and always try to go that extra mile for our guests. Hi Guys, A bit of a different post today. Last March my Dad was unfortunately Diagnosed with Terminal Stomach and liver Cancer so we are currently in Scotland in our motorhome travelling and doing the 10 thousand steps a day for the whole of March for Cancer Research UK. I have put some pictures below of us on our travels and all of our progress and would be so so grateful if any of our past, present or future guests could help donate in anyway to this amazing cause. It really would mean a lot to us.
