Driving machinery is a serious business. We know because we've been landscaping around this area (near the playroom) recently in preparation for a new much bigger area for our ride-on tractors. It'll be a while before its ready to ride on, but if you're wondering what's going on up there when you're passing, this is it!

We hope you have all come through the storm without too much damage. We had no power at Treworgey for about 30 hours- the longest outage we've had in many years. We have plenty of work to do to clear fallen trees and damaged fencing, but we feel very lucky that nothing too destructive happened here.
Here's Reuben (age 6), first on the scene to start clearing the lane yesterday morning!

Sarah and Holly dug out their glad rags last night for the Cornwall Tourism Awards. Treworgey was up for the Self Catering Accommodation category and we are delighted to say that we came home with the gold!
We were up against some really nice modern holiday apartments, which are more in line with current trends in Cornwall. We have consciously maintained our more traditional aesthetic, with antiques, natural materials and use of local craftsmanship, as well as a friendly vibe. We know our regulars love this, but it's great to receive recognition from the tourism community too!
