Cider cottage which has historic links to Liskeard’s rich mining heritage is pleased to be hosting the Liskeard Unlocked Open Studio this year. The event from 13th-15th September will showcase arts and crafts produced by the Liskeard Market Makers and is all hand made locally.

Lovely pre breakfast walk on the beach this morning with the dogs. You wouldn’t have thought this was Cornwall in July- it was deserted!

We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch at the Crows Nest pub. Ten minutes away from Cider Cottage and great for a pint and lunch after a long walk on Bodmin Moor. 🐾🍻

Another season ahead and bookings are starting to roll in so we are taking the time now to take a deep breath and enjoy some lovely local walks ( plus a very quick dip in the sea)…… with the variety of weather you would expect in Cornwall !
