Minley Manor is a fine grade II* listed manor house set within its own extensive estate which itself comprises of many listed buildings all encompassed within a Registered Park and Gardens.

Formerly owned by the MOD and home to the Royal Engineers, Corbil Planning Ltd secured planning permission and listed building consent to transform the manor house and its estate into a 100 key boutique hotel along with a spa and function building, restaurant and many new buildings and extensions to listed buildings.

The project represents the best of high quality design and safeguarding our important historic built environment. It was whole -heartedly supported by Historic England and the Victorian Society. To quote Blackwater & Hawley Town Council, it stands to be 'a jewel in the crown for the district of Hart'.

It was a pleasure to work alongside the architects for the scheme, Purcell Ltd, and a great team of specialist consultants.

We're back on stand 6 of the Property Investor Show at London Excel today and tomorrow (Saturday). At 12.55 today, James will be running a seminar in Theatre 2 on understanding the planning system, and will also be on a panel discussing 'small-scale property development' at 12.00 in Theatre 5. When asked in this afternoon's panel on PDR and commercial to resi conversions at the Property Investor Show, I suggested that one likely route for a new Labour government to try and solve the current housing crisis would be to free up development in the Tory held shires whilst restricting PD opportunities in urban areas.
