Small Business Saturday 7 December

CANCELLED

Regrettably, Littlehampton Town Council have made the difficult decision to cancel the event due to Storm Darragh and the unsafe winds predicted for this weekend.

Town Centre businesses are still open and there is free parking all day in the St Martins Car Park.

This year, we have a brilliant line-up of live music performed by local artists:

🎤Joel Peters will be opening the Small Business Saturday event at 13:15!
🎤High Strung will be showcasing original songs as well a couple of Christmas songs to get the crowd going. They will be performing on the main stage at 14:00!
🎤Electric Feel will be playing delightful covers and Christmas anthems. Don’t miss them on the stage at 15:00 and again on the stage at 17:00!

FREE parking in the St Martin’s Car Park all day. Free 2 Hour disc parking in other Town Centre car parks.

We are so excited that Santa is taking a break from his busy schedule to come and meet children in Littlehampton.
He has told us that he is eager to hear what is on children’s wishlists this year and give them one small gift to encourage them to carry being good until the BIG day.

Head on down to the Arcade between 13:00 – 18:00 and you will find Santa in his Grotto next to Agi’s Boutique. £3 per child and you will receive a small gift too!

🛳️ Calling all young builders and creative minds! make a brick boat and display it in our maritime display
⚓ Share Your Stories. As part of our Lottery Funded Project Time Machine, we are collecting memories, stories, and information about maritime history. Explore maritime-related objects from the museum’s collection and help us preserve the history of Littlehampton by sharing your recollections.

Join Santa’s Elves for festive storytelling – themed stories on the hour every hour starting at 13:15 with the last story at 17:15.

Lantern Making: Design and create your very own Winter Lantern to light-up Littlehampton between 15:00 and 18:00.

Littlehampton Christmas Lights Switch-On - 23 November 2024

CANCELLED

Regrettably, Littlehampton Town Council has made the difficult decision to postpone the event due to the Yellow Weather Warning for rain and high winds this weekend.

Littlehampton Town Council is currently coordinating with contractors, entertainers, and local businesses to explore their availability for Saturday, 7 December. It is hoped to relocate some elements of the event to this new date and will provide further updates as soon as possible.

In the meantime, the Council sincerely apologises for this disappointing news. Please save the date for Small Business Saturday, 7 December, as there will be some FREE activities.

The lights will be switched on for the season on Friday.

The Ultimate Screen on the Green quiz

It's the moment you've all been waiting for... it's time for the first ever Screen on the Green quiz! Quizmaster Councillor Billy Blanchard-Cooper will be putting your knowledge to the test as he presents 7 rounds of questions including the all-important bonus round where you get double points for each correct answer! You have until 9pm to send your answers to '[email protected]' to be in with the chance of winning a prize. The faster you email your answers the higher your chances of winning are! The winners will be contacted on Monday but if you want to see how well you've done then join us again at 9:30pm where the quizmaster will take you through the answers and of course the bloopers! Good luck everyone! Please ensure you listen to the instructions at the beginning of the quiz and when participating you can pause the screen at the end of each question, so you have time to answer it.
