I’m not in the business of sightseeing—I’m in the business of connecting people to places.

Here’s the thing…

I’m no Blue Badge guide. I don’t know every date, every architect, or every monarch that passed through Liverpool.

But what I do know is this:
I love this city. I love the buzz of the bars, the stories behind the buildings, and the people that make Liverpool what it is.

When I take people on a tour, it’s not about ticking off landmarks and rattling off facts. It’s about feeling the place—getting a sense of its character, its humour, its history, and its soul and having fun and making memories !

I’ve had people say:
“It felt like being shown around by a mate.”

And for me? That’s the biggest compliment.

Because tourism should be about connection—to the city, to its people, and to each other.

That’s the magic.

You can travel the world… but you’ll struggle to find people quite like Scousers ❤️

Over the years, I’ve worked in pubs, managed and owned bars, ran tours, and had some brilliant (and bizarre) conversations with people from every walk of life.

And if there’s one thing Liverpool has taught me about people, it’s this:
Most of us? We’re sound from Liverpool

Sure, like anywhere, we’ve got the odd idiot knocking about. But on the whole?
Scousers are some of the kindest, funniest, and most big-hearted people you’ll ever meet.

✅ We’ll chat to a stranger at the bus stop like we’ve known them for years.
✅ We’ll help someone without thinking twice.
✅ And we’ll always find a way to have a laugh—even when things are tough.
There’s a passion here that runs deep. People love Liverpool, and they’ll defend it to the end (and usually offer you a brew while doing it).

Being surrounded by that energy has shaped how I run my tours, how I welcome guests, and how I live my life—with warmth, wit, and a good sense of humour (Id like to think anyway ! ha )

What a tour that was! Had the pleasure of hosting the Liverpool Hospitality Association on their annual FAM trip—and what a great bunch they were all 52 of them !

We packed the day with a mix of the classic and the unexpected… from a surprise singer on the bus belting out Beatles tunes (and yes, everyone joined in!), to a proper brewery tour, a wander through the stunning St George’s Hall, and a relaxed drive around the city showing off the places we all love
