I walked past Mcdonalds Lord street and reflect as this place is where my journey in hospitality and tourism started at this very McDonald's in Liverpool, when i just turned 16, a job that wasn’t glamorous but was undeniably foundational and genuinely enjoyed then and gave the bug to stay in forward facing roles every since
Flipping burgers and serving fries may seem simple, but those early days taught me lessons I still carry with me. Teamwork and efficiency were paramount, and every smile from a satisfied customer was a victory that fueled my passion for forward-facing roles.
The fast-paced environment sharpened my multitasking skills and taught me to handle pressure with grace. More than anything, that experience instilled in me a strong work ethic and the realisation that hard work and dedication can lead to success.
From that humble beginning, I transitioned to various roles in hospitality, each building on the skills I first developed at McDonald’s. Today, I’m thriving in the tourism industry, and I owe much of my success to those early lessons.

What a fantastic Saturday it was with back-to-back ! First up, I had a Beatles tribute act all the way from London who wherein Liverpool for Beatles weekend. Their mission? To dive into the story of the Fab Four while also soaking up Liverpool’s buzzing craft brewery scene. This is where our Beatles & Beer tour truly comes to life.
I took them on a journey through the paths of the Beatles, visiting the iconic places such as Strawberry Field, the homes and pubs where they once raised a glass, all while sharing stories that brought their legacy to life. We even heard the story of a lady who was in the pictures and at woolton village fate the day that John and Paul meet, now that was and incredible story to hear how she saw them play and basically Paul rehearse for John.
Along the way, we explored Liverpool’s vibrant craft beer scene, mixing music history with the perfect pint. Honestly, what’s not to love about a day filled with Beatles and beer? 🍻

What a bank holiday Monday that was! It ticked so many boxes: quality family time, incredible music, and the best concert setting in the world right in front of the Three Graces.
With easy access to the bars, and the company of friends and family dancing to Oasis , the Stones, Queen tribute acts—it honestly doesn’t get much better than that on a Monday !
A huge shoutout to everyone involved who put on an amazing weekend at the Pier Head and across the city for Beatles Weekend. Daniel Sanders and his team absolutely smashed it, along with Steve Fletcher who all did a fantastic job creating such a brilliant family festival on Monday. I just wish I could have attended more days, the atmosphere was electric ! 🎶
After a long conference, there’s nothing quite like unwinding with a taste of the local culture and Liverpool has plenty, but where do you go when you have a large group and so much to choose from ?
When a group from the overseas group recently joined us, they wanted to experience Liverpool’s renowned hospitality, and we knew just how to deliver.
Their interests were clear: they loved beer, cocktails, and the idea of diving into the heart of the city’s vibrant social scene. But they also wanted to learn something new along the way about Liverpool. So, we crafted an experience that catered to everyone’s tastes and left them with memories they won’t soon forget.
We took them to a gin-making class where they learned the art of crafting their own gin, a hands-on experience that everyone found both educational and fun. The group loved the chance to create something unique and take a piece of Liverpool home with them.
Next, we went to local brewery tour and beer tasting. They explored the brewing process, tasted a variety of local beers, and gained insights into Liverpool’s rich brewing history.
The tour bus that took them around the city added another layer of exploration, offering views and stories of Liverpool that connected the dots between each experience.
Finally the journey ended at the highest cocktail bar in Liverpool, where they enjoyed stunning views of the city skyline while sipping on expertly crafted cocktails. The atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after a busy day and the views are stunning !

Last night, I attended the grand opening of the new Jurgen Klopp section and the latest memorabilia additions at the for the invite.
The musuem has always been impressive, but the new trophy cabinet is truly spectacular. As a proud Red, seeing all the trophies our club has secured over the years was a breathtaking reminder of our rich legacy and the new Jurgen section just makes me miss him even more.❤️👏
The evening was elevated by a stunning performance from the winner of BBC’s The Piano and local lad who mesmerised us with his talent. I had a conversation about his journey and the transformative impact of his success was deeply inspiring, especially as a fellow Scouser. His story is a testament to perseverance and passion and what you can do if you believe in yourself 💪🏼
