This prize giveaway is for 3 nights over the August bank holiday weekend, check-in 16:00 Friday 25th August 2023/ check-out 10:00 Monday 28th August 2023. Stay only, travel not included, self-catering, food not included. UK residents only. The winner will be drawn at random from all entries who have correctly followed the instructions above, from our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Competition closes at 23:00 22/05/2023 and the winner will be announced on 24/05/2023. The prize must be claimed within 48 hours of notification otherwise another winner will be drawn at random. The prize giveaway is for the winner of the competition plus up to five of their guests only. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be gifted or sold to any third parties known or unknown to the winner of the competition. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash and must be taken on the dates stated for the bank holiday at the end of August 2023. In certain circumstances, there may be some mobility with dates of stay but as the owners we hold the right to accept or refuse these depending on availability. Our Story…

In 2018, Eddie, Sally and Delme Hughes began the project of a lifetime. After farming the land at the Cwm in Llanyre since 1975, and with the future of farming looking perilous they were faced, like thousands of farmers with the challenge of having to diversify.

Following many years, tears and triumphs we’re pleased to present to you - The Sheepfold, here on their working farm in the heart of the Welsh countryside.

They’re known locally as Ed, Sal & Del or Hughes’ the Cwm but I know them as Mum and Dad, along with my brother Del (here’s Del feeding the sheep). By their own admission they’re not the most technologically minded so whilst they’re getting up to speed with that side of things I’ll be helping with the social media and marketing.

You’re sure to see them during your stay feeding the sheep, harvesting the land or simply lending a helping hand to ensure you’ve got everything you need to relax and unwind amongst the picturesque views Wales has to offer.

We hope you enjoy the lodges, the farm and their story, and we’d love to welcome you here as guests very soon!
