Llandudno - plenty to see and do and if the weather is poor then you can pop along to the swimming centre

Llandudno Swimming Centre can offer a 25 metre, 8 lane competition pool as well as a 20 metre, 4 lane training pool. Both pools feature a movable floor, which allows for greater flexibility with how the pool is used.

I little further afield are the wonderful Aber Falls. An amazing walk with great scenery.
Oh, and in case you haven't noticed, it is also the home to the first whisky distillery in North Wales for over 100 years.
Open daily from 10am with a cafe on site, but please check opening times for the cafe.

Located within a stone’s throw of Rhaeadr Fawr, the famous Aber Falls waterfall, our whisky is distilled, bottled and matured in our distillery, using specially crafted Welsh ingredients from the surrounding area.

Thinking about staying at Capel Y Ffynnon but not sure what to do first?
Whatever you do during your stay, you really should visit The Welsh Mountain Zoo.

Located a mere 10 minute drive away, you will be glad you visited.

Having been ourselves (will definitely return), we can confirm that as per their website, they are indeed set on one of the most picturesque and unique landscapes for any UK Zoo, the Welsh Mountain Zoo occupies some 37 acres of lush green landscape overlooking Colwyn Bay and the Carneddau mountains in North Wales.

A great family day out in North Wales. Come and say hello to our animals at the National Welsh Zoo.

Why not visit the fantastic Gwrych Castle on your next trip to Wales.
Being a Grade I listed country house in North Wales, it's one of the first attempts at replicating true medieval architecture in Europe.
It stands in 250 acres of gardens and grounds and has extensive views over former parkland including a deer park and the Irish Sea.
Of course, not to mention the fact that Gwrych Castle has been the host to ITV’s ’I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ so it really has put itself on the map more than ever.

Gwrych Castle is a Grade I listed 19th-century country house near Abergele in Conwy, North Wales. The castle is currently the home to ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The Trust are embarking on a restoration programme to restore the castle and parkland back to its former glory.
