I’ve been busy making a shower and toilet cubicles out of ibc containers for visitors in 2025. The outside covered kitchen is also getting an extension added and a bit of re jigging, photos to follow once I (eventually) finish it. Both the shed and the cubicles moved in storm Darragh two weeks ago so they are now chained down to ground anchors as I don’t want that happening again. We had 80 plus mile an hour winds and a lot of damage to the house and buildings.

I’ve been busy making this toilet cubicle out of two ibc tanks in the last few weeks. It is at the bottom shepherds hut ready for next years visitors. It remains to be seen if I have the energy to make a shower cubicle now too 🤦‍♀️

We have some young calves in our shed we’ve been looking after, they’re very cute but growing fast. The brown ones are limousine cross dairy and the black and white are British blue cross dairy. There are 9 British blue crosses in the field next to the shepherds huts this year, 9 months old and enjoying the grass but they like a scratch on the head just like the baby ones do.

This years lambs, lily, Lancelot, loco and lupin have to be behind a make shift lamb creep so their mums don’t eat all their food. Lily is almost too big for it now at over 5 months, she squeezes in though🤣
