Another brilliant review, and a video to show you what Davids talking about!😀
We have just spent an unbeatable few days exploring Cardigan Bay, Ceredigion, on the mid Wales coast. We stayed at Ty Cwch at Cwmtydu - a very special place.
Ty Cwch was perfect for us; made from up-cycled shipping containers, it is best described as a quirky mix of glamping and bunk house style accommodation. There is a fantastic, well-equipped communal living space with extensive kitchen and dining facilities, plus a living area and utility room with toilets. There is even a hammock on the covered decking and the whole frontage opens up via huge wooden doors. Shipping containers above make up the 3 cosy sleeping compartments, each sleeping 4 people in comfy bunk beds, there are also two bathrooms, with toilets and hot showers. You can hire the whole place for exclusive use (sleeps 12), or just individual bedrooms, as required.
It’s located a couple of hundred meters from an impossibly picturesque pebbly cove, with the most amazing sunsets and perfect for beach bbqs and rock climbing. It is also right on the Welsh coast path, with direct access to some brilliant walks.
Cool and remote, Ty Cwch is ideally located for a relaxing holiday, we absolutely loved it!
