Still hoping to tempt Fb 'Followers'/Supporters to make an auction bid (SDL link below), including those few in my family who may have the wherewithal, particularly those on Manchester's Red side!
Think of the future, your descendants may support the devil with a trident, the arts and humanities (Imperial War Museum, Lowry Theatre and Art Gallery, Granada and BBC studios) or be future watersports afficionados rowing on the Bridgewater Canal or sailing on the Manchester Ship Canal. Plus the opportunity to support both pensioners and those young people who do not have the 'Bank of Mum and Dad' to provide help with their housing.
Andy Burnham's announcements at yesterday's Labour Conference in Liverpool seem to have raised a smile at Oxford Economics and worldwide interest. The development will link both sides of Chester Road (A56), allowing ease of access directly from GreatStone Road to the Quays.

Perhaps Grolar Limited (https://hspg.co.uk/about-us/), the developers who got involved in April 2024, will make a bid?
41 GreatStone Road is a long-term investment within Trafford's future 'Civic Quarter' which encompasses Trafford College, Stretford Police Station, Trafford Town Hall and Gardens, Lancashire Cricket Ground (Old Trafford), University Academy 92, et al.
My plan is to retain and refurbish no. 43 GreatStone Road, hopefully working in conjunction with the purchasers of no. 41 GreatStone Road, auction details of which are directly below.

Relocating the Rail Terminal from what is now the top end of GreatStone Road will open up a direct route to Manchester United's stadium, the Manchester Ship Canal, the Imperial War Museum, the Lowry Theatre and Art Gallery and Media City at Salford Quays and, no doubt, a direct rail route to the West: The present line runs between Manchester city centre, Liverpool and the west but trains no longer stop at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have revealed the first images of the potential Old Trafford regeneration project.
