Ignoring the initial questionable choice of a single UK importer of an American product with only one trained operative able to apply it.

How many slips trips and falls occurred at our county paddling pools last year when they didn’t have American anti slip surfaces?

The current decision is going to be forcing small children from the relative safety of a paddling pool into the sea - perhaps even on their inflatable toys! does this in itself not constitute a huge H&S risk?

Water-lovers will have to paddle elsewhere this summer unless essential surface work can be done.
