Say hello to Falcon! 👋
She is our largest berth narrowboat, with space for up to 8 guests - the perfect vessel for the whole family and with the space onboard we really mean the 'whole family'!
Designed with no compromise on luxury, with three permanent 5ft double beds, and the fourth double bed being created in the saloon. Nine picture windows, with demister and wipers, allow for incredible wraparound views no matter what the weather is like outside. With two high-spec shower rooms and underfloor heating, she truly is luxury.

Tramway Coffee, now has ice cream! Yum yum.

Pop along and visit us for a sit next to the canal, play some games, have an ice cream or one of our other delicious options! We have soft drinks, hot drinks, freshly made cakes, toasties, pancakes, milkshakes...… we could go on!

Looking for something to do this summer holiday? Being next to the canal watching the boats go by, feeding the ducks, what a brilliant way to spend the day.

What's better is you can do this in ANY weather, rain or sun, as we have an indoor area for you to sit and relax in!

TRAMWAY COFFEE NEWS!

We now bake our Welsh cakes fresh daily and they smell and taste amazing!

We also have an absolutely gorgeous selection of cakes from Baked By Natalie to go with our aromatic coffee.

Plenty of yummy treats including flavoursome toasties for you to enjoy and indulge in whilst sitting next to the canal, taking in the surroundings and playing some of our board games.

Don't worry about the weather, we also have some covered seating!

As the calendar turns to the first day of May, we find ourselves embracing the vibrant spirit of May Day. This ancient festival marks the halfway point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, heralding the arrival of warmer days, blooming flowers, and the earth’s renewal.
As the last petals of spring’s cherry blossoms drift away on the gentle breeze, we stand on the cusp of a new season. The days stretch longer, the air grows warmer, and the world seems to take a deep, contented breath. Summer is upon us, and with its arrival comes a time of vitality, adventure, and sun-soaked memories.

WELSH FACT:
Calan Mai: The Welsh Interpretation

In Wales, Calan Mai is a unique expression of this age-old festival. It’s a day when towns and villages come alive with the sound of music, the sight of traditional dances, and the laughter of community gatherings. Children and adults alike dance around maypoles adorned with ribbons, while a local girl, crowned as the May Queen, leads the celebrations.

Whilst there isn't any maypoles here at Beacon Park Boats we are looking forward to welcoming the warm embrace of the Summer.

Hello All,

It's that time of year again! The annual charity bike ride takes place on 12th May 2024 and I will be riding the 110 miles from Cardiff to Tenby (a gruelling 13 hours of hilly cycling) to raise money for the following four charities:

- RNLI
- Cancer Research UK
- British Heart Foundation
- Stroke Association

I'm also raising money for my local church - Our Lady and St Michael's, Abergavenny. A community who have supported my long-term recovery.

The RNLI - you never know when you might need them!

Cancer Research UK - I have two close friends who need as much support as possible to access the treatment they need.

British Heart Foundation - you just never know.

Stroke Association - to fund research into preventative measures / cures. I'm now coming up for 7 years post stroke, and with intense physio I'm now confident to walk short distances inside only, but very little progress walking outside or longer distances without the use of lots of support.
