With the holiday season over I wanted to show some light at the end of the tunnel with my Lle Hapus (happy place) camping pod. There is only one deliberately as there is room to move, room for a barbecue and even a slide down from the decking. Add to that stunning views, bikes and sheep. On Sunday 3rd November we are organising a private uplift via a password on the website. The group has now set their numbers and spaces are available. Booking link is in the first comment. We start at 9.30 and finish at 3.30 to give us adequate light for safe running.

This Saturday 5th October we have a private birthday uplift. The group have not entirely filled the event so a few spaces have become available. The uplift starts at 10am and the last truck leaves at 4pm. Booking and payment are on the website with the link in the first comment. Looking forward to another good one.

Just a quick reminder that following the race last weekend we are still closed. Track repairs are going well although field is still pretty soggy. We will open after Wednesday when I finish what I’ve started. Thanks in advance

That’s a wrap on racing at OGL Llangollen this year. Was so good to see so many people I no longer regard as bikers but as friends. Everyone seemed to be loving my tracks despite the weather. Mixed emotions seeing my cared for fields fall apart although most people made an extra effort to drive with compassion, some did the opposite.
Huge thanks to Bud and his loyal team for their efforts. It would not happen without you. We will be closed for a while to allow me to rebuild tracks and to let the fields recover.

A huge thanks to Gravity Events Uk for another excellent race this weekend. The weather was a bit cruel today but everyone battled the track and the elements with skill and courage. Huge respect to all involved as these events are the grass roots of mountain bike racing. Seeing so many youngsters tackling my Son of Squirrel track today humbled me.
We are closed now for me to rebuild before reopening for the final round of the Welsh Enduro. Congratulations to all involved.

After some computer issues I am able to offer an uplift on Sunday 1st September starting at 10am. This will be the last uplift before the race the weekend after and before the Welsh Enduro two weeks after that. Daisy will be cooking her legendary wood fired pizzas with a variety of flavours making a top day for all. Booking is on the website but the link is in comments.

The camping pod is also available should you want to make a weekend of it.

Had a top day today on our uplift with a great bunch of people. Can I please stress that members are not to ride the tracks without contacting me first. This is clearly stated on the membership application form and on the signs top and bottom of the tracks. We have had a digger on track yesterday and I have been cutting grass on there all week and have been closed. Today we have been plagued with people randomly turning up and running themselves up and down the hill despite there clearly being an event on. One informed me that as a member he could use my hill whenever he wanted.

This cannot happen for safety reasons as any one of us could be working on track. During an uplift this causes me havoc on the hill and in the field. Last Friday we had Camp VC where five riders felt it was appropriate to ride the tracks and land in the middle of a collection of marquees and people. Please be good enough to let me know before showing up as this getting unacceptable. With thanks,

After a mad weekend at the hands of Camp VC and considerable work on the tracks we have managed to squeeze in an uplift on Sunday 4th August. The uplift will start at 10am and finish at 4pm. Details are on the website and the link is in comments as Facebook doesn't like me posting it on here.

After a buzzing weekend hosting CAMP VC the dust has settled and the silence is deafening. During the weekend I witnessed from a distance an inspirational group of people trying out outdoor activities in safe and supportive culture. A brilliant bunch who made me proud to welcome you all to Llangollen. You were all living proof that girls just wanna have fun!

Had a top day on today’s uplift. Great people and tracks were riding well. Camp VC next but will stay open next weekend.
